It is so awesome listening to the two of you play so long ago--I'm a fan of both of you--and this is such GOOD music! BTW Dean (I'm Kate, BTW--Dohi Awi)--what are you playing? I'm familiar with and actually play instruments that are not "mainstream" but I've not seen this. I love it! (I would like to find one, actually--I love the sound). I really enjoy the fusion of Native American and African music (I am assuming that is an African instrument--or has roots there).

@WindsNature Thanks so much! That drum is called a 'slit drum' . In some places its called a toungue drum, refering to the carved wood prongs of different sizes that vibrate produce the various pitches. In the video I called it a 'Kalimba Drum' because it sounds so much more exotic than 'slit' hahaha ~all the best to U~ Thanks for stopping by!
