  • Very cool. I must get this it would speed my drawing up and renove the necessity for all that endless fiddling about with mirrors to check for the presence of bias in the image. Good post.

  • Very nice invention. I downloaded Simmtrace and tried it out today. First tried placing the drawing board flat, but it works much better when the computer screen and drawing board are parallel, so I placed the drawing board on an easel and voila, it was much easier. This is a really neat invention and it's cheaper and better than the opaque tracers on the market I think. You can buy a webcam for $18. I have been using a tripod and easel, but I can see your adj. arm is better for stability.

  • Yep-my invention! I list themoccasionally I will get in touch. Thanks for your interest.

  • Roy, did you invent this? I went onto ebay but didn't see any for sale? I'd like to learn more about it. I trace a LOT of my works.

  • that's cool, all I could do when i draw is to have an image to the left of me, and my paper to the right (that Im drawing on)

  • lol This makes it easier!!
