I have always loved this song. I love the hard rock bands from the 50s through 80s they're so much better than the bands of today. Ever notice how most bands of today make electronic music or very very crappy music. I miss the Good Old Days.

-Very crappy music is common place now a days, especially in this genre. True hard rock is no longer produced by most new bands today. There's no possible way that anyone could ever convince me that a group like "Kings of Leon" plays rock music. The music they produce is as far from sounding like rock music as is country music.

I remember around 1983 when the talk in Los Angeles was that there was a New Led Zeppelin type band and it was Great White that they were talking about. I agreed with them and loved the band, but when they releaesed  the "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" single, it was over for them. They lost the edge they had and they soon faded away. I know the single did well for the radio world, but their die hard fans were hugely disappointed.

I have to say this is probably my favorite Great White song. It's the very first song I'd heared by them. I was in the car one night listing to the Hair Nation channel on satellite radio. I heard this song and downloaded a Greatest Hits album. I loved the whole thing and I became a fan pretty much overnight. Now the're up there with my top 10 80's groups Along with Tesla and Def Leppard.
