I remember I had a Blue iMac. It only crashed once, about 5 years after we bought it. I also remember it somehow caught a nasty virus and died. We got a big "Cheese grater" mac. It also caught the virus, but somehow "survived". (I wonder if the antivirus had anything to do with it?)

@michaelthemunkey yes, i use ubuntu all the time on my pc. especially when windows fails :/ viruses are not user errors. the reason apple is less prone to viruses is because people who make viruses hate microsoft and make more viruses for windows. apple is just more loved. apple is actually a lot less protected then a windows computer because they have less risk. but since the new iphone, many people do not like steve jobs so more viruses will be attacking mac os computers

Mac provide more security. I enjoy more on mac if I wanted to download and surf the net than microsoft tho. I just need windows to run my games. Macbook last longer than windows, thats not the best thing yet, the best thing is you wont felt left out eventho the newer version is out. The GUI is still sophisticated and elegant. Mac rules!

The Dual G5 is still my main computer with iMovie '09 humming along perfectly and toasting even the Core Duo Macintels! And my PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz which i handed down to my little brother just a while ago, now that i have a MacBook Pro to lug around. Now considering to hand down the G5 for a Mac Pro or iMac.
