Oh man, I know this is a remake of the original arcade game, but Slash was 100% more suitable for this level than the giant pile of mud nobody gives a fuck about.
YO WTF IS THIS SHIT YO, this thing looks like shit. The foot clan just keep repeating the same moves n arent even fucking GIVING IT THEY GOT. The Foot always attack in full force to the death like spartan 300. These foots are SLUGISH n the fighting SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS AHHH THE FUCKING MUSIC TOOO

cont...but catchy antics of advertisement and merchandise. Please! Get with the times ppl! The game itsself has good control and good gameplay from self experience bacause I ACTUALLY LIKE TO PLAY THIS GAME! Yes, it is true that the SNES version had more to offer due to expansion of levels but realize ladien gents this gameis an exact replica remake of the ARCADE ORIGINAL and i do admit there could have been more to due to the shortness of the game but get with the times ppl!

@SecondZeroTwo I agree buddy. Ppl are complaining about a version that was not canon to the original arcade line-up and trust me i plyed and enjoyed both because each had sumthin different to bring to the table and so does this version. Although the OST sounds like crap in this version of it i actually think ubisoft did a fair job of remaking this classic. Trust me i am a true 80's baby and enjoyed everything about the TMNT from the toys and comics to the cartoons and its quirky....cont.
oh my got ! they dared ! they changed our good old turtlesaurus to a clay boss . I remember when playing with my little sisters ,the préhistoric turtle was difficult to defeat but we loved her
The Shredder head was supposed to be a huge rock on the hill that was in the back right? Why in this version is in front? looks horrible xD everything in this game looks horrible.... and even everything sounds like crap, the music, the voices.... I know konami couldn't make a shit like this, this is a good reason to hate ubisoft... damn bastards

yea people act like they're so disappointed with it and they prolly haven't even played it, mute the tv and play the original music ost, most remakes aren't like the original, or it'd just be a clone

Wow, some people seriously need to play the Arcade version. Everywhere I go, people are complaining thats its not like the Snes version. There was an arcade version that came out first and had this exact layout people! Still, I'm pretty pissed about the music. XD
i don't know i don't hate it but then i have'nt played it yet i did think it looked neat though but as i also have the origanle i'm not too worryed about it being tottaly the same! plus as the saying gose they just don't make'em like they use to am i wrong!!!
@SecondZeroTwo Then the question arises, why do a remake of the arcade-version, when the SNES-version (to be honest) had much more substance? THAT doesn't make any sense. Why do a remake at all, if you're not going to give us what the gaming community already agreed upon 20 frikkin years ago as being the best version??
man i'm really disappointed in this remake of one the greatest games i played growing up. It completely killed any nostalgia i might of had. I only hope they didn't get rid of super shredder or the future hoverboard surfing level. I remember that was fucking epic.

@DenitheGreat This is based on the Arcade version. Everything that made the SNES version fun was exclusive stuff to the home console version only. SNES = Nintendo, It probably couldn't get cleared to use the SNES exclusive stuff for Xbox Live. If this was released on the Wii Virtual Console than I am sure all the SNES goodies would be kept
slash was insane hardest boss in the game i can't believe they got rid of him i'm still getting this obviously but i feel almost insulted...half my childhood was spent tryin to kill that bastard
yeah he was hard but if you attacked at the right time in his move set he would'nt block and you could score some hits befor you had to get away from him if i remember you had to jump n kick him from the air if the hit landed you wanted to press the attack a little he'd run or dope smack you then you just jump to the other side cutting him off and repeat! gotta remmember back then it was all about pattens of moves acculy it still is to some extent!
besides them not putting in slash, foot blocking ninjas..does anyone remember the ninjas who would just walk in throw a grenade and simply walk away...god i hated them

These devs don't realize that TMNT was awesome BECAUSE it was lame to the point of being awesome. It was suppose to be cheesy, like pizza. Making it "awesome", made it less lame, and less awesome by default. The original arcade version is better.
so why did they change the music .. was there copyright issues or something with putting the actual original arcade game on xbl and thats why they made the remake? i dont understand because the first game is on xbla with all the correct music and its the original.
I'm disappointed with how newb-friendly this game got..What happened to the foot soldiers blocking? I remember one color of foot soldier being specifically trained to block your attacks, yet none of them are blocking whatsoever. Furthermore the soundtrack for this game is absolute garbage...nothing like what the arcade or the SNES had. I can't harp about the graphics or gameplay mechanics since those are faithful but why so damn easy? The beefed up guys used to damage you if they exploded..
Who the heck is this new boss supposed to be anyway? I completely agree with koolneonrod. Slash should be the boss; not this muddy blob. Excuse my nostalgia, but give us a break re-makers. Thanks for making and posting this video MahaloVideoGames. Your walkthroughs are the best!
Alright, but actually I never played the original arcade version or any arcade version that I remember. I guess I've always just been used to Slash. It's all good so don't trip, lol. Thanks for the info.

Actually, Slash is not the original boss. The SNES version was a port (a bad one at that) from the Arcade version. Cement Man was the original boss for this level. They replaced him with Slash for the SNES version for some reason.

wtf? I like how instead of going up to the Technodrome and fighting Shredder, he just shows up in the sewer. Lame.

@xXxkiller64xXx Actually, the original had no Technodrome level, it was added later in the ported version for the SNES.

o my god. I remenber those rocksoldiers from snes. Those were really deadly and scared the crap out of me everytime they came to attack.
But what da hell did they do here.
First they are stealing from Golden Axe those dragon.
Then they are stealing Clayface from Batman?
And how is it possible a dinosaur can breath fire?
