Sure, but if Roloson wasn't injured, they would have a good chance at winning Game 1, plus they would have at better chance at Game 2. They lost 5-0 in Game 2, mostly because they lost Roloson and were rattled after a crushing loss because of an awful goal, and they lost the goalie that took them 12-5 in playoffs up to that point. This is not a knock against Markkanen, but had Roloson not been injured, they probably would have won the Cup.

Funfact: Carolina won Game 1 5-4. Ty Conklin let in ONE goal. Roloson let the other four in. Jussi Markannen did an excellent job to step in having hardly played all season and play a SC Finals series.

Yes, home ice advantage played a huge part in the '06 Cup that the Canes won.
As far as injuring Roloson, you can thank your own defenseman that tossed Ladd into him. (#47... can't remember his name).
The 05-06 Playoffs were incredible, and I've got every ounce of respect I can have for the Oilers as a franchise. (Except Pronger.. but I'm sure we both hate him)
Now let's just all calm down and we can all hate Buffalo together.

Funfact: Carolina won Game 1 5-4. Ty Conklin let in ONE goal. Roloson let the other four in. Jussi Markannen did an excellent job to step in having hardly played all season and play a SC Finals series.

No, that's bullshit. The only game Edmonton outplayed Carolina was Game 6. Carolina either dominated or kept the game close in every other game.
Carolina wins the Cup in 5 games if Stillman doesn't pull off a choke of epic proportions.

It was Bergeron's fault for knocking Ladd into Roloson. Besides Markkanen stepped up and played amazing for the Oilers. Hurricanes had their best season in franchise history (including whaler years). Good effort from both teams.

I think you should of put that clip of Doug Weight holding up the cup with his seperated shoulder it would of made it more "intense" but none the less great job it makes you apperciate the game alot more:)
