Mantovani made a couple of recordings of the Blue Danube, at least one prior to 1958 in monaural (FFRR). After 1968 all of Mantovani's recordings were in Stereo or four track. Mantovani was the first artist anywhere to sell over a million stereo recordings.

You will not hear The Blue Danube waltz played any better than Mantovani's version. This version is much more spectacular than anything you may hear in Vienna.
