  • I seem to recall reading that this song was one of Frank Sinatra's all-time personal favorites.

  • sounds like munnificent frank munn. great arrangement!!!!! minor key. say hello gracie in middle of record. bert hirsch probably playing violin. my mother's boss and agent. great post!!!!!!!*****MUNNICENT ROGHARM

  • Excellent vocal by Frank Munn

  • This great song brings back my fond early childhood memories of the late 30's living in Queens. My favorite rendition of Penthouse Serenade is by Bob Hope and Shirley Ross 1937. it's an MP3 downloadable from Amazon. Hoping you will put photos to that one for posting someday. Thanks, again.

  • Nicely done - one of my favorite arden/ohman recordings and some excellent 'period' images of New York! Slick!

  • Yes, I like this tune...I remember we had an old record by Ralph Flanigan...

  • Lovely tune and most approprate pictures!

  • What a dream little penthouse: overlooking Manhattan and the Hudson! Lovely tune and lyrics and great accompanying photos.

  • Very athletic tribute to the city I wish I'd never left. Also love the gem-like view of the Chrysler Tower in the second image.

  • Another great song.

  • very nice, you are certainly a creative person!

  • Nice song, and a great selection of pictures to go with it. Funny to hear a couple of bars of "Love Nest" interpolated into the bridge. If I remember right that became the theme song of "The Burns and Allen Show" on American TV.
