@puutarhatonttu hi mate, theres alot of MK solos! I think if you goto the level 42 main website there is a list of books available with tabs, I've never used them, but I seem to remember hearin about them! Good luck finding them :)
mate, I'm just a rythmical player! I'm sure you are very good, over the last year I think i've got a bit better since this vid, so just keep playing away, and enjoy it! Just learn from listening to the great players!
wish I had never sold mine! I use very light guage strings (30-85) from my sponsors (see my newer vids for the info) I used to use the middle pick up setting and the tone around half ish, still bright but has some depth. Also a behringer bass limiter/enhanser which acts a compressor and tightens up the sound (very cheap off ebay) and a cheap effects box for chorus/flange etc...
cheers & thanks for taking the time to reply, have only been playing( if you can call it that) for 3 months and people like yourself and others are a real insperation to us newbies and add that extra enthusiasm to our drive to learn. Have a behringer BXL 1800 amp with built in compressor, will have to experiment and see what happens but being of little technical experience it may take a little while. Cheers and thanks again.
Its a washburn-status series 1000, designed by status with status elecs, bulit by washburn. Thanks for the comment, check out my other newer vids too, they are a bit better than this I think :O)
Cheers! It was all I could do to keep them warm that day as it was freezing in there!! Thanks for the wonderful comment - check out my other vids too :)
Hello mate. That's a real nice groove you got going on there, and a nice bass too!
From the title of the vid and the opening riffs, I take it you're a Level 42 fan? At 0:28 I thought you were going to play Foundation & Empire!
I've been a fan of L42 since 1984, and been to see them loads. I saw them last year, and they are still amazing to go and watch, even if we're all a lot older now!! If you ever get the chance, don't pass it by!
Perhaps you should join / start a L42 tribute band!
I'm a huge Level 42/MK fan! There are some better vids of me on here, so feel free to have a look. I've been into them from as far back as I remember, I even remember my dad buying world machine when I was about 8! I've haven't been to see them since 2000, but always want to! I'd love to do a tribute band, though there are some very good ones here in the UK. I've also done a cover (badly!!) of Just Like That on here from a live bootleg I've got, see what you think :)
