  • two years ago two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover the clown statue in the kid's room. the father said, "get the kids out of the house, we'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this onto 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 AM with a chainsaw in his hand. Sorry don't want this to happen to me

  • Myles Peter Carpenter Rudge (8 July 1926 – 10 October 2007) was an English songwriter famous for writing the lyrics for novelty songs. His songs "Hole in the Ground" and "Right Said Fred" were both Top 10 chart hits in the UK in 1962, both recorded by Bernard Cribbins to music by Ted Dicks and produced by George Martin for Parlophone. His song "A Windmill in Old Amsterdam" was a hit in 1965 for Ronnie Hilton.

  • Barry Mann is thankful for those who put the Bomp in the Bomp Titty Bomp etc.

Thanks to this song, forgive me for getting jolly when someone mentions strong adhesive tape and rodents.

  • This song has a rather special importance for me.

It was playing on my casette recorder at the particular moment I lost my virginity.

"The Best of 60's British Pop" was the album.

The songs at the beginning of the casette were the enticement. This happened to be the song playing on it when I finally got there.

She did stop for a moment to mention the mice overtones. But I convinced her to ignore them.

I think Acker Bilk's 'Stranger on the Shore' came on next. That made things much easier.

  • I just realised that this song is really similar in its melody to "Boom bang a bang" by Lulu. I've been trying to remember how to sing this song (having last heard it when I was about 5!) and every time I try to sing it I drift into "boom bang a bang"! The 'going clip cloppity clop on the stair' part is very close to the 'come on and cuddle me tight' part from the Lulu song! It's driving me kinda mad actually!

  • I loved this song when I was learning to walk. Never heard it for 30 years, but then it all came back like it was yesterday. Amazing!

  • Remember this song from school...

Hate to kill the mood, but doesn't that lady who's dancing with them on her head inadvertently tread on one with her foot?

  • LOL----if you look carefully, at 0:25 and 0:26 you will see that her foot is right next to the mouse--not on top of it. And the mouse moves afterwards, so its ok!!!

  • :) Dutch version of the chorus:

Ik zag een muis -- waar? Daar op de trap

Waar op de trap? Nou daar!

    Een kleine muis met klompjes

    Nee 't is geen grap

't Ging van klip-klipedie-klap op de trap
