the 1st time I herd this song it was my 6th grade English class. that was 2 years ago. we were told the story that inspired the song. i can't remember all of it. something about this woman seeing two kids getting beaten to death in a ally by their father (i think) when she was on vacation in Ireland. then she started a protest. i think the music video has clips from the protests in it. I love this song!
