  • How Did you pit Sense On YOUR GALAXY S???!!?!?!

  • Very impressive! Thank you!

  • Well explained I'm going to get it now!

  • I had this apps and it slow down my samsung galaxy s... totally make things worse

  • i have a the Samsung Galaxy s an i have this task killer an i had everything set on what you said an my phone will only make it till the next early morning an the task killer doesnt really work ill kill the apps but there right back on there 3 seconds later killing my battery :/

  • @MRxStanley DOnt use this crap. Use only JuiceDefender on agressive mode. Then turn off GPS, Data, Sync, Wi Fi, 3G etc. Only connect those things WHEN NEEDED. I go by 3 days no problem using internet, camera, listening to music etc. I once got 6 days out of it but with very little usage.

  • Big clock is called fancy widgets

  • how did u got the htc clock thing?

  • @Xpod321 Go to android marketplace, and search HTC clock, you should find lots of them in different Colors.

  • There already are a task manager built in were you can kill processes. Anyway, this is stupid. Apps in the background dont use RAM or battery. They are just ready to launch faster, this way, SAVING BATTERY. When i got my GS i was shocked by the battery low usage. Less than 1 say quoth very moderate use. Now, i go by 2 days no problem.

    - Reduce brightness. Only Increase it when needed

    - Turn off 3g. It is useless

    - Tweak your e-mail sync

    - Turn wi fi when NEEDED

    - Turn GPS WHEN NEEDED.

    +50%

  • @GabKoost 3G is needed if you ever decide to leave the city :P

  • @TalesoftheAbyssftw Then use it like i do. ONLY WHEN I NEED IT. I dont know why people wal around with data and 3g on when, most of the time, they are not using it.

  • @GabKoost maybe becuz the people got friends and use whatsapp

  • @LALELULALE Well, if you have full connectivity 24/7 then noone should complain about battery. Whats the point of being in full contact with friends all day every day? Just connect stuff when your bored while waiting for the bus or something.

  • what app is the big clock with the weather?

  • just wonderful i did not know this program did more..thanks for the input

  • Whats the difference between the red one and the blue one?

  • I like your clock widget where did you get it?

  • lol! With the task killer, your battery life will be badder!

  • task manager actually slows your android phone. don't install it!

  • the title should have said 'how to increase speed for 10 seconds and reduce battery life by 4 hours'

  • good video

  • galaxy (B)S

  • thanks

  • Nice video!

Quick question, you have the same clock widget as me, but i have the cypha clock, but want the one you have. What's it called?

  • i wanted to trry pandora but we have a limited data plan (well, kinda we have 2gigs per month per phone) but for the time being i'm not sure how much I'll be using per month since i just got the phone. i'll mostly be using it at home n it will run off my wi-fi. as long as it's doing that will i be charged data just for running the app? or any app for that matter? thanks in advance :-)

  • I will like this video because you said please

  • Thank you so much I already download and I didnt know it able auto kill thanks alot!

  • how'd u record this????

  • @1GamingChannel i think he took screen shots.

  • a task killer increased my free mb ram so im in doubt

  • how did you get that clock on your homescreen?

  • @surryj rooted the phone

  • Thank you very much,my phone is faster than its ever been ,am very happy with the app

  • i like it tanxxxxxxxxxxx man

  • yeah, why don't you just root the phone, install bionix, run overstock OC@ 1.2mhz, and just run every app you can download and throw at it?

  • awesome! I can't wait to see how much battery this saves! subbed

  • thanks so much!!!

  • i dunno what everyone is complaining about, i bought iphone 4 first, used it for a good 4 months, then got a galaxy s and there is no comparison. Galaxy is far superior to the iPhone. You have to realize that android isn't exactly a fool proof system if ur galaxy is having difficulties you should learn more on the system and see what you need to rectify. If you use it properly u will see that it runs a lot better.

  • i hate my galaxy s its so slow..its the worst phone ive ever had..gonna put it on ebay..i got iphone 3 and its far superior

  • All you gotta do is install juice defender and your phone will last for about 36 hours easy, without having to think about anything like closing apps or anhything like that. It's awesome!

  • not necessary to have task manager, just use back button to close the app properly. Thats all.

  • excellent info,I just got a galaxy s and was slightly concerned about battery, this is a great tip...

  • i got my galaxy today. how do u get weather and, news and other shit on the 2nd page ?

  • i see..the colour is negative :P...try updating to 2.2.1 and install aps to external sd card and restart phone every 3 days

  • do i need this or RyanZA's OCLF 2.0

    and whats the difference

  • I agree with @WhiteFamilyVlog

All you need to do is press back button to properly close any app, however i find that the Froyo update (Android 2.2) doesn't work very well and this has made the phone a lot slower .

  • @HostilePro i find it the other way in any case cant wait for the gingerbread update i hope its comming soon

  • Omg this helped like a Bit** i went to the store and asked if there is a stronger battery and if you want a lil more help download juice defender it saves battery life to

  • Omg this helped like a Bit** i went to the store and asked if there is a stronger battery and if you want a lil more help download juice defender it saves battery life to

  • Thanks it works well thank you for the information very helpful

  • i had this app since i had the phone n didnt know you could do that!!!

  • Where did you get that clock/weather widget?

  • whats the name of your time and weather widget that looks like the htc one??

  • i have 2.1 eclair.....what version is this?

  • does it delete the apps?

  • @pinkSTAR9511 - no, it doesn't! it just closes them if they are running in the background.

  • Oh yea another thing i have "automatic task killer, i dont know if its the same. maybe you can tell me that.

  • i have a Samsung Fascinate, how much stronger is the battery after you did this?

  • @Degenerate724 - instead of downloading this app, I go to the hone screen, long press, samsung widgets and then find program monitor. it tells you when you have a program running, and you can end it easily. I have used this task killer app and liked the widget much more. It helped my battery, but only a little. The usual things that will be running in the background are the browser and the music player. other than that you usually don't have to worry about it. my biggest battery saver yet has

  • @Degenerate724 - been settings>accounts and sync>unchecking background data. this helped my battery so much. I also have the fascinate. I hope I helped! :D

  • @madgambi thing is though, can you still use the browser and use the phone normally?

  • @Degenerate724 - If you uncheck background data? Yes. I only get my gmail messages when I turn on the background data, though. The only thing you cant do is go onto the market..you also have to turn on background for that. otherwise, everything (calls, texts, some apps, including browser) works perfectly.

  • @Degenerate724 - yes you can!

  • What is the wallpaper on your phone called?

  • very useful 5* and a suscribe . hell of a good job mate

  • What launcher do you use?

  • what is the difference between the aggressive and safe?

  • whats the clock widget you use

  • awesome bs video bud, did you write atk? or did your buddy,

awesome abuse of trust people put into you for previous videos,

fyi people DONT use this it's just a cash cow for him and his friend

  • This is nonsense, the android operating system doesn't work the same way as windows.

By default Android controls the multi tasking of the phone, it will close apps / send them to sleep when they aren't in use.

You make it sound as if all the apps on the phone would be fully running, as if it were the same as having numerous windows open in XP, this is not the case.

Using a task killer on an android is unnecessary

  • @MrTugging ts not unnecessary because wen i kill apps i have 40 mbs more free gettin 174 total so its not at all useless generally

  • @MrTugging I can't agree with you more. :) There are many people who have the assumptions this is necessary and don't realize what they are doing will hurt performance and as well as degrade battery life of the phone. I say to the video poster, please update your video!

  • very good video review. thx.

  • I`ve read a lot of bad hype about ATK and how much people say it drains battery life and there`s no need to have a task killer, what do you think about this?

If task killers are needed then which would be a good one, I`ve had ATK and I thought it did the job well, but now I use Task Panel it seems to be a little faster but its hard to tell......

  • @WhiteFamilyVlog You have a task killer preinstalled on default Galaxy S firmwares, and Task managers are not recommended, if you close it, you will use more power to open it.

To properly exit an app, just press the back button.

  • thanks for the vid man; really appraciate it :)

  • great video dude!!! u r a great tutor!!!..i wish you could do the Voodoo Lagfix step by step video tutorial coz i really want to do the lagfix but dont know how to...the explanation given in the website seems to blur me with lots of unknown terms for me....thanx !!!!

  • Nice video, how did you do this video I mean the screen capture of the screen, I never Sean anything like this from a cellphone, keep up the good work and thanks for doing it

  • wht phone do u have how did u get ur phones android market to look like that

  • Thanks for this post,i was having the very same problem with mine, thanks again =)

  • You think Froyo will be available with rooted users? Or will they have to install update themselves?

  • Also for Samsung Vibrant and most android phones I would assume...clear and simple instructions on this video...thumbs ^^^

  • Did you root your galaxy s?

  • How can u say lag fix doesnt work? It got my benchmark quadrant score from like 1k, to 2.2k?? but yea ill test this aswell

  • How did you change the colors on your Galaxy S phone to different shades, and how did you get the clock on your home screen?

  • how did you put in the time as your main page?

  • whats the crazy setting mean?

  • @swow5210 It will kill all apps at whatever interval you have autokill level at.

If you were to put our phone to sleep, it would kill every app running that isn't on the ignore list. This would include text messaging apps, music apps, and widgets.

  • @GalaxySCentral I'd like to put my galaxy s asleep ....with a hammer .... nothing but problems with the GPS, WIFI, terrible lag and battery life.

  • Thank you this is very helpful

  • Good video mate, what calender app are you using as it has the date on the app. The original app doesnt have this.

    Cheers

  • very nice instructions, very clear and easy to understand, lets see more. thank you.
