Not only that, Hance has a larger vocal range than Tyler and he can actually hit notes that Tyler avoided. In addition, Hance has a certain thickness in his voice. So, he can actually pull off a country/southern vocal style if he wanted to. Tyler was an egomaniac. How the hell does the PRESS know about him leaving before the band does?! Thats ridiculous.

Hance is singing in a lower key than Tyler did, which was in C. so notes are a bit more easier for Hance to hit.and have you heard the end of Hell Or High Water? in the background those SUPER high notes tyler hits?? I haven't heard Hance hit those yet. and these melodies were written by TYLER himself. WIM even admits to it in the interview after this video was posted. Hance hasn't written anything yet, so don't say he has the "Rnb" side yet.

@Element115fl Um... A# is the tuning, not the scale he sings on. You don't necessarily sing to the tuning of your guitar. If that were true, then Drop-D/Standard wouldn't be the norm for when people sing because its "too high". Lol you can sing with your chest or diaphragm and guitar tuning barely matters lmao. Also, I have heard Hell Or High Water. Have you listened to R&B? If you did, you would know that they sing mostly in falsetto. Its very rare for an artist to use his chest voice in R&B.

People keep comparing Tyler and Hance but honestly, you can't. They both have totally different octaves, vocal styles, etc... It works like this. Tyler perfectly suited the songs from their debut. It won't be the same having Hance sing mannequin religion for example. But from what I've heard so far, I can't imagine Tyler singing vengeance.
