what i mean discovered is he owned the place, it used to be a private propety and DONATED to the government for public use... go to the pantalan and look on the kiosk building you can find my grandpa name. its not my intention to show off but thats what history says. just sharing. I read it in our M. Montemayor Family Tree Book.

Nobody discovered the islands. It has been there and seen by thousands even before your grandpa is even born.
