@mouldy8 loads of time spent tuning, and i changed my snare drum skins, and bass drum skins. And yes, my snare's a cb snare, i drilled three extra holes about an inch in diameter, it improved the sound alot.

try to tighten both sides of your drums, remember the resonant side too. Make sure alll sides of your drums (1 in apart from tuning bolt) sound identical. It should give you more of a better tone. good luck, and thanks!
