ok so I was very very disapointed by their last album...it had a couple interesting bits on it but it hurt to listen to it because I loved their two previous albums so much...the emotion packed into In Love and Death made Lies sound fake and boring...sorry to those of you who liked Lies.

however! I am extremely excited to hear this new album...if the rest of the record sounds like the music featured in this video I'll be stoked. this sound reminds me of their first album =D yay!

Yes, i am aware that most ppl will cling to a band's old albums...in fact, I used to tell those ppl to respect everything an artists created instead of shuning the new material. so i see where you're coming from. but honestly I've listened to all three albums thoroughly and their first two stood out above the third. sure Lies had it's moments but I felt like they had just regurgitated (no pun intended) too much of their old sound but in a new and polished form.

I saw so many fans drop off when they released In love & death because they thought the sound was too polished. at the same time I completely embraced that album because of the circumstances bert was in...i can imagine that that dude's had few solid relationships and then with his gf dying and all...In love and death had so much meaning packed into it.
