Video has been sped up, that's why the music was added (because the sound would be too high pitched). I've done a hot lap at Laguna in the right seat of a CLK63 piloted by Tommy Kendall and we didn't go that fast.. A GT is faster than a CLK63, I'm sure, but not that much faster.

what are you talking about? the video is in fast motion. Ths is not the ALMS GT1 racer, this is a street car. Porshe GT3s run 1:39s, this video is about 1:20 and thats as fast as the very fastest GT1 ALMS vets

YOU can easliy time the laps and get 1:38 for the out lap. (way too fast for a cold lap), and 1:22 for the 2nd lap, which this car could NEVER do, even if it is the ALMS GT1 FordGT, which it is not. Its in fast motion thats why everything is going by so quickly.

all you have to do is do a side by side video comparison and see my point.

This is the street FordGT, it is NOTHING like the Ford GT that can run as fast as the FAST motion video shown here. do a quick image serch of the ALMS FordGT. first of all, there are no red ones. second, it looks completely differnt. MUCH larger hood vents, with larger flares.

You are not listening to reason. the street GT40 is not as fast as you think. Its on par with the GT3 porsche, ferarri F460, etc. All of these cars are in the 1:40s at laguna seca. the lap time in the video is 1:22. AGAIN, the ALMS 700hp version of the GT40 cant even run that today, let alone the street car with street tires with AC, stereo, etc, and thats what this video is from. No sound, because it would sound like alvin and the chipmunks. :) Think about it!

Good fast lap, but there's more available. Watch in places a little wide on apexes and shy on trackouts, so either a hypercautious professional (driving 8.5 tenths) or just being a well trained, experienced amateur driver.
