I paid 150$ for one about a weel ago and honestly that's about as much as you should pay for one usually they are around 100$ but I just had to have it :)
ive seen him shoot a couple dozen out of his rifle and they seem pretty safe. He gave me 6 but i dont have a .410 but one of my shells and a derringer sounds pretty nice =)
he shot 2 watermelons, one with regular slugs and the other with the HE rounds. HUGE difference. The first shot did like twice as much damage as the slug. and the secondary pop along with toxic puff of smoke is very satisfying.
I have the double barrel that takes 3 inch 410 shells. When I use .45LC it does not group well at 20 yards, but it is just a derringer, and is made for about half that distance and targets twice the size. The 410s pepper the target at 20 yards with a very wide spread. I just bought the 5 barrel MR version and am waiting for my dealer to get it in. The 5 barrel takes 3 inch also, but has a rotating cylinder just like an old pepperbox. I want all the derringers that Leinad offers, they look fun.
You are correct, the rounds will keyhole, and the accuracy is bad due to the tiny 1/16 of an inch rifling at the end of the barrel. It is there more for compliance I believe than for function.
I'm pretty sure your right, I only shoot .410 shells out of it though. Unlike a judge it will actually hold a pattern with a shotshell, as far as accuracy it's as good as a bond arms ranger but way uglier.

If you get the chance to buy one I would get it, it's a great carjacker gun and a good conversation peice. Plus if you need quick cash these things sell like hotcakes anywhere and people will pay good for them, I know first hand ;). Thanks!
This was the single barrel and only shoots 2.5 inch shells. I was shooting a Federal 000 Buckshot out of it. The double barrel will shoot up to 3 inch shells and has a selector switch on the hammer. These things are alot of fun and can take alot of abuse.
I like the idea of the leinad derriner. I want to get the sxs .410 derringer. You think it is a good gun? I can't find too much info. Which model did you fire? and what did you get hit with?
Can you buy those anymore?

It was a .410 in a 000 Buck. Because of the short barrel, it is super loud and will make your ears ring if you don't wear earplugs.

How accurate is the thing with .45LC? I hear the bullets always hit sideways because there is almost no rifling.
