Thanks. And no, i don't think it's a glitch. From what I've seen, the gk moves/acts like in real life. So, when i'm at in the circle, the gk is at the 6-9 yards mark. This is why he's sometimes surprised by a 40 yards shot. :D

Doesn't work on the ps3 version, tried myself a couple of hundred times. Maybe it works in FIFA 10 (you know, pc fifa 11 is a port of consoles version of fifa 10)

hey i have managed to score goals (pc version)but i want to make it 100 % can yew jst tell me the direction when yew shoot because the power judgement i have practiced like for 15 days and made it perfect but i just wanted to know is it by giving direction on leaving all the buttons on your joypad or keyboard ?

I've used direction. Can't remember if it worked without direction, haven't played the PC version for a pretty long time. :)

Yeah, but how? On the PC version, when I'm at the middle of the field, the GK is out between 6-10 yards. On the PS3 version he's never that far out.

Basically i scored the goals in fifa 10 (fifa 11 on pc is just a port from consoles). I now own a ps3 and havent scored a long distance shot in over 100 games so feel flattered when i tell you "awsome goal". :-)

To everyone who thinks i'm cheating or etc. When YOU play, look on the radar where the gk is when you're with the player on the 45-50 yards mark.

AND, on the PC it's easier to score this kind of goal. If you can't do it, that don't mean i'm cheating.

don´t you guys get it, he just plays with one team and press y or something so the goalie sprints out of the goal and then he changes team and shots and he will score because the goalie is out of position!

Just face towards the goal, and press the shoot button.

Nothing else, just shoot, and it will go into the back off the net if you used the good amount off power

Were the players who scored long range specialists? Or is it just a case of taking a shot using a bit of judgement on the power bar and hoping for the best?

With most players, on the PC version it's judgment+hoping for the best. Although, there are players with which i can guarantee that 6 from 10 timed shots hit the net.

I play on xbox and i was wondering how to shoot a good shot from long distance. Are you using a finnes shot or something other than just a normal shot?

nope, it's normal shot. 2 to 3 bars and hold the desired direction.

but idk if you can do this on xbox(the pc version is very different). that's how i do it on pc, with a x360 controller.

@andreas802 its pretty much the same how you shoot on the PC and Xbox. Especially because on the PC you can use the XBox controller. Actually PS3, Xbox, and PC how you shoot its the same.

@Dooggyy2 yes. you have to have at least 92 for long shots. I've only done it twice but line it up and hold shot a little longer than normal and it will have to rise above the net but it will sink lower into the net.
