Hi i like aseed as well my husband is from yemen and i am white and i love to cook him yemeni food all the time just because i think it took him alot of courage to move away from home to the usa to provide for his family.. I feel like if i give him food that is from yemen he wouldn't be so sad and stressed out and he think's he's back home i love my husband so very much and i learn alot of way's to cook yemeni food.. waooww we make our aseed differently. we use a pot and put boilin water add salt and use a mihwash of course and pour jiffy flour and mix and stir den til its a ball add more hot water. den stir and poke holes den stir again til it forms a ball again and throw it in a bowl add semn wala sahawik(salsa) or hilba and enjoy. inshallah ima post a video of how we make aseed

the soup is easy to do...cut up onions, tomatoes,in put it in a big pot..cut up chicken or beef..in pieces...and cook it...together..then put salt, pepper, cumin, and curry...in the pot with everything else..then just mix it for a little bit...then put alot of boiling water on top..of your meat and veges...then cover it..and let it cook...when its ready..the meat will be cooked...and thats easy soup...juban style...or yemenie style..wat ever..

yooo ya uma harakti al kursi! binhaddou u said aseed is made from boiled corn flakes looool? i will have to try that one out. As far as i know aseed is made from flour and water u can also make it with some harish which is crushed wheat :-)

aseed in this recipe is made with boiled corn flakes.

the white relish is "hilba" it is ground fenugreek.

Any pan cake flour or pan cake mix will be good ,,just add some salt ,,and e3sd lol

u can eat 3aseed wit meat soup ,,called maraq or zoom ,,made from butter milk ,,whicg i love ,,tell me which one u wanna make !! i'll tell u the tradition recipe .....
