  • What really happened to old school is just that. It got old. But i will alao say is that thw lod school did set the stage for what is now. Money, cars, bling, hoes. They made young niggas like me want that, cause they showed that it was achievable!

  • I tell you what about Kane, he had the best endings on this:

"I’ll just break him and bake him and rake him

and take him and mold him and make him

    Hold up the peace sign...

    Assalam Walaikum!"

  • FUCKING CLASSIC.. WTF HAPPENED TO THE ILL SHIT,,,, SMMFH :(

  • Other than nas-new york state of mind, PLEASE tell me of another song that has straight jaw dropping lyrics.

  • @ShowMeTheBeats have you listened to "the wake up show anthem 1994"? that ones pretty hard

  • @CreativiDe992 i feeel ya son im sixxteen n i listen to real hiphop but any current ill mcs are all underground even the kings like ll rakim bdk wu tang redman etc too many to mention/ its actually waaaayyy fuckin easier to name all the wack rappers than it is to name all the ill mcs in the game

  • if yu realy think about all tha past mcs since the birth of hip hop theres been more ill mcs with dope lyrics than there are shitty rappers such as all the ones johnnymack mentioned

  • Big Daddy Kane...Straight LEGEND!! I'm only 18 and I listen to REAl hip hop like this....even today's music nowaday, it's not what it used to be from back then. It was the best times

  • 5 minutes and 30 seconds of pure amazing rhymes... awesome.

  • I wore this tape out on my box,it ended up eating the cassette

  • Blind alley - the emotions

  • this beat has been slowed down, in the original the flow is alot faster

  • @UnderdaSensi Sounds like the album version to me.

  • real rap right here, much respect to Big Daddy Kane

  • Kane takes my mind to outer space

  • So pick a BC date cuz you're history!

Who has a better flow and lyrics like this? Long live old skool.

  • Rappers these days brag about money, cribs and girls.... Big Daddy Kane brags about skillz. Awesome song :)

  • @edgelee84 cause thats all they got XD money that was given to them and all the rest comes cause of money

  • Long live the kane baby!!! a true icon of hip hop culture forever..........

  • MF'n CLASSIC...this the 1st time I heard this jam in a good minute, BUT it has exposed alotta "so-call'd" big producers in the game...so many vocal samples in this one cut, 'n heads ain't do the one??? It's call'd research'n ur history, or "dig'n in the crates"!!! Souljah was damn sure right & exact when say (on a radio station) dat if this is HIP HOP, then he knows FO' SURE dat his music ain't HIP HOP, 'cuz Kane was kill'n it!!! Lol...

  • Can't find this on iTunes!!!

  • Fuck Lil Wayne Fuck Young Money Fuck Birdman Fuck Cash Money Fuck New Boyz Fuck Gucci mane Fuck Soulja Boy Fuck Roscoe Dash Fuck Cali Swag District Fuck Rick Ross Fuck Waka Flaka Flame Fuck Young Jeezy Fuck Lil Boosie Fuck Fabolous 80s and 90s hip hop forever. Even some early 2000s hip hop. Who do you think are the heroes of hip hop?
  • @MegaJohnnyMack

hey now i like all hiphop and rap and R&B And Soul

and 80s hiphop and Soul And east coast and west coast hiphop

    try this one

( Woodie BlackBird) or (woodie life of sin)

    enjoy those 2 songs

  • @MegaJohnnyMack It's not their fault it's 2011. There's no reason that Big Daddy Kane and Kanye West can't be awesome at the same time just because they have different styles. It's a new time and different things are popular, just like any other genre, and they're taking advantage of it. No need to hate on the new guys to love the old guys.

  • @MegaJohnnyMack to tell the truth most of the real heroes r dead n may they r.i.p ,we lost guru and nate dogg just in the last year, its a fuckin shame

  • @MegaJohnnyMack FUCKIN HATER+

  • @ugotwasted212

Not a hater but a truth teller. Now go listen to your new school baby shit wack ass joints.

  • @MegaJohnnyMack YJ and Fab aint that bad, but i feel where your comin from, they dnt make em like they use 2.

  • @MegaJohnnyMack

Could not have said it better myself. This is the real shit!!!

  • @MegaJohnnyMack in early 2000 only eminem was nobody else but 90 were classic

  • @MegaJohnnyMack your. pretty spot on....but jeezy isnt alllll bad IMO....and hell no am i trying to compare him to this brother

  • @MegaJohnnyMack naw i agree wit most of fucks you mentioned but Jeezy and fabolous are well respected in this game i dont really listen to alot of their staff but i know there hip hop material.

  • @MegaJohnnyMack Most importantly, fuck YOU!!

  • @MegaJohnnyMack fuck yes!

  • @MegaJohnnyMack I agree with you.I'm 17 years old and todays Hip Hop music sucks. All of the "rappers" you mention are a disgrace to Hip Hop, better yet music in general. All they rap about these days is money, cars, stupid dances like the dougie and the cat daddy, autotuning, and and making it rain at some club. And this generation thinks today's hip hop is better. smh. That why I switch to Old School Hip Hop and Underground.

  • @NBA58760 good move homie this new shit is some garbage

  • @MegaJohnnyMack you know, Fabolous' early shit wasn't bad at all

  • @MegaJohnnyMack The only one in your list I gotta defend is Fabolous... fuck every one else.

  • @bigsmoke53 faboulous is good fuck the others !

  • @MegaJohnnyMack You need to look up the label Rhymesayers. Its real hip hop. and it's now

  • these new goofs are jew controlled robots after 94 hip hop died

  • i agree wit u in almost all them rappers. almost all my rap songs on my ipod from late 80's to early 2000's. during that era, rap was more original. today it's crappy mix of techo, and computerized voice technology which is crappy as well

  • @MegaJohnnyMack well good job on promoting all of them....stop mentioning all of their names in Youtube comments... it actually helps them get fame.

  • @MegaJohnnyMack yeahh 80's and 90's hip hop is the best. Big dday kane, LL cool j, EPMD, RUN DMC, Mobb Deep, tupac, biggie, etc. Some new ear hip hop is good. I believe immortal technique was around early 2000's. Same with jedi mind tricks. Also rhyme asylum, army of the pharaohs, diabolic, akir, ill bill, la coka nostra, non phixion. thats just to name a few.

  • @MegaJohnnyMack ok i agree with all that except fabolous, hes hella sick, he got better over time even tho i dont like his collabos wit wack artists

  • @MegaJohnnyMack

Biz Markie and KRS-ONE are a couple of the last remnants of old school hip hop left.

  • 8 likes? That's it? Thats a travesty!

  • it's perfect!!
