This is IMPOSSIBLE. A circular saw requires a WHOLE LOT more energy to cut through a 2x4 than can be generated by a spinning blade thrown at the board. You cannot cut thru the board with the circular saw THAT FAST. Notice how the thrown blade simply bounces off the board. That would not cut thru the 1.75 inch board. GREAT COMPUTER GENERATED EFFECTS, THO!!!
if you still doubt my theory. listen to the sound again. you can hear that the blade doesnt slow down its rotation when it "saws through" the board. it even seems as if the blade would accelerate at the end when it gets through wich is physicly impossible.
One more thing. when it hits the board the blades spikes grip and make it change rotation to forward wich is why it looks like its been spinning forward this whole time.
and like i said. if it was spinning forward from the beginning to the end it would have landed alot furher from the board.. I'm to intelligent for this crap. I WIN!! :D

This is obviously fake. the board were sawed of at the bottom and only had a very thin layer on top holding it togeather. his throw is accurate. when it hits the board the flakes bursts twards the guys as if it was spinning forward while the blade really is spinninbackwards. the reason for me to say its spinning backwards is for one, the way he is holding the blade before he release, and if it was spinning forward as the burst of the flakes act like,

In the slow-mo it is clear that the blade doesn't even go through the entire piece of wood, so how could it have cut it? I call fake on this one.
