  • YOU'RE IN THE JUNGLE BABYY !!!

  • ovo im stvarno nije trebalo :)

  • OMG discharge!! My dad is the lead guitarist ! andy green, or mouse as he was called! Only the other day when we were clearing out the loft together i found his ponytail that he had kept in a bag, now hes a skin head and works in an office, and we live in a 3 bed! they were offered to play with metallica but the singer refused and thats why dads getting up at 6 every day And i only just found out about all of this properly ! im so impressed with what they did wish he was still playing now!

  • props to you and your pops..I'm sure he had plenty of oppurtunity in his time to become a sell out rock star, but raising you and staying with family was more important...I loved Discharge back in the mid 80s as a punk rock mowhawk kid..I'm just glad bands like Rancid have carried on the true spirit of punk. So much overproduced sugar coated mindless garbage that's passed out through the record industry's lower intestine that is considered good music these days....

  • this sounds pretty punk to me, but i just cant rock the vocals yall. it throws the rest away. thats my opinion tho, however my taste goes from metallicA, SOAD, Dethklok, KoRn, to Cake, Live, candlebox, and RHCP. but for ME personally, i dont like anything ive heard by discharge mainly cause the vocals. but ive also only heard a few of their songs so i cant say altogether i dont like them, however, MetallicAs Free Speech is alot better to me.

  • my granny could get nearer to Cal's vocals than this!!

  • retarded ass kids all believe!! haha

  • WTF!

  • WTF happened to these guys hahaha lets make badass b-beat songs into shitty metal songs hahaha

  • this is a fucking shame.......i had just left school when the fight back ep came out...now all the yrs later discharge have turned into this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Idk what the fuck happened to Cal or Discharge during the 1990's. I mean what the fuck they sound like Glam Metal...

How can one of the hardest hardcore punk bands go to shitty third or fourth rate glam metal?

  • THE UNION OF HADRCORE PUNK AND THRASH METAL

  • Huh, so this is what happened after hear nothing see nothing say nothing

  • @w00densh0es1

The best statement I've read about this issue....The fact is people invent a lot of terms, names, trends, and styles, but Discharge was ahead of the time in the 1980's ... 25 years later, things changed, including the band....!

  • This band and this particular song defined Crust Punk. ALWAYS REMEMBER DISCHARGE!!!! they are a very important band in the Hardcore scene in the 80's

  • discharge is the king of hardcore for a reason. asking alexandria if shes a whore is shit compared to discharge cause this is what hadrcore is supposed to sound like. NOT tuning your guitars low with gutteral vocals cause thats ripping off death metal

  • terrible, the 2011 discharge is the best since the early 80s, fuck this heavy metal shit with mick hucknell on vocals, god bless rat!

  • @MrPcushing That is Cal singing

  • i prefer VARUKERS!

  • ke feo. la descarga

  • They unfortunately went from Discharge to Disaster. The voice changed, as did their fashion and even instruments. I still love Discharge regardless.

  • discarge made music

  • Cal blew out his vocal cords and was forced to sing like that. He always wanted to sing like Robert Plant anyway. No shit.

  • shitty vocalist

  • poor cal... bones took his balls when he left the band. poor neuter.

  • hate when stupid punks talk shit about metal and viceversa. Enjoy the fucking song assholes!

  • This is so funny to watch. They were an awesome Punk band but really shit when they tried to do a DRI type thrash thing.....but with the same songs. Glad to see that somebody had the sense to tell them as they are Punk again.

  • what the fuck were they fucking thinkin'

  • metal is a spiritual thing?...punk is more day to day issues?....everybody stfu, stop pretending u know what ur talking about and listen to cal sing like a woman....

  • we need to stop this and never let it happen again! NEVER AGAIN!

  • ugh why did this have to happen? WHY WHY HY WHY WHY!!!???

  • No. Just no.

  • @Khold90 then don't listen

  • @SSDecontrol94 I'll do whatever I damn well please. kthanxbai.

  • @Khold90 kk troll

  • @SSDecontrol94 How does that make me a tro....never mind. Wanna fuck?

  • @Khold90 sure why not

  • what a loadve shit piss off cal singing like that .... total shit.

  • nice!

  • About as punk as the sad old gits who still wear tartan bondage and have mohicans ! enjoy your uniform old man !

  • Bull-fukin-shit !

  • What year is this?

  • Why why for real WHY????????????????

  • So all you guys saying this is just metal, I guess that if they'd come on stage looking like '83 you'd have all loved it...!

  • @fourshadesofgreen if Cal hadn't had the daft idea of singing like a castrated cat, selling out to become some third rate metal band, stuck to the raw, energetic and original D Beat punk yes the vast majority would have been happy. This is dross, you can't compare it to the punk period.Original band where embarrased by this whole period (read Glaspers book). Punk to me was all about challenging ideas, the whole movement was abrasive, confrontational.Metal is shallow and corporate in comparison.

  • @cloverleaf164166

Check out the band "Birth A.D.". Real Underground Metal maintained the Punk spirit well after Punk had "died".

  • @cloverleaf164166 Completely agreed. You echo my sentiments. Well written. THUMBS UP.

  • @cloverleaf164166 Saying Metal is shallow and corporate in comparison to punk is about as ignorant as a metalhead thinking punk music is shitty noise.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow maybe, maybe not. Punk began as a social/political movement and some might argue the apex was reached with the anarchopunk bands - crass/conflict etc.I have never heard a metal band speak so forcefully or eloquently, the point is the whole movement was/is trying to make a statement about the people and organisations that shape our lives.I just don't see that Metal stands for that, it's probably a good thing, the world would be a boring place if all music had the same message!

  • @cloverleaf164166 Metal is more of a spiritual thing, dealing with shit larger than life where punk is more day to day issues. They both excel on different playing fields.

  • @cloverleaf164166 social/political lyrics are very common in thrash metal, listen to an album Ignorance by Sacred Reich for example

  • Esto nunka fue Discharge, son unos glameros de mierda!

  • His voice sucks bigtime. Old discharge rocks though - this is just pure crap

  • Fuck how many of the original members are in this shit version

  • Is that some roadies during the sound check ?

Cos it ain't the Discharge I used to love !!!

  • Im a die hard metalhead, but I love my hardcore as well....and this is just plain SHIT!

    -Mike

  • This is just noise

  • @AnarchyAhead

    listen to Queen then

  • @thrashing666mainiac

No thanks, but don't get me wrong... Discharge are obviously talented muscians. It's just that I don't find them creative enough.... for all their raw talent.

I know if I listened to them again and again, it might get additive.... I think my sister had their earlier stuff

  • this song makes me want to fight

  • why did so many people have hair like that in the late 80s?

  • i didn't know frankenstein was a man

  • idk why but i get this feeling of literally no feeling. i could be just this song

  • Kickass brutal song!

  • never again will they experiment with mainstream glam rock

  • VOTE THIS DOWN

  • is that henry rollins on drums..hahaha

  • i hate their metal songs...... punk songs are way better!!!

  • love it!

  • this is awful.

  • what the fuck is this noise

  • Y'all are idiots this song actually is a punk song it came out before they became metal or tried to be. Look at the other never again vid live with the classic lineup. This one is shit the other one is fucking dope

  • @jlbroich

they became a crossover band like DRI and suicidal tendencies mr Punk elitist

  • @Germsboy138

YEA ONLY TRU PUNX CAN LIKE PUNK! HURR DURRRRRRRRR

  • Utter shit

  • You know what? I'm really fucking tired of going on discharge videos and seeing braindead retards insulting Metal, I'm both a Metal and Punk fan and have been for years, all you fucking little turds picking alliances are nothing more than filthy little posers trying to find a scene to fit into.

Fuck all of you. Go dye your fucking hair, and spike it up, be as anti-corporatism as you want, just remember something, at the end of the day you're a snotnosed little brat buying hair products.

  • This is when Discharge started getting good.

  • my heart bleeds ...

  • What a fucking shame. Who on this video was in the band originally, except Cal ?

  • yeah SIEKIERA is like Discharge....and it's Polish!!! all should listen to it (I mean old siekiera records, cause they went new wave later)

  • this shit, vocals sound like shit, music too, this aint the discharge i kno

  • Eww.

Legendary punk band, piss-poor metal band.

    Never again.

  • Cal....why?

  • a bit embarrassing but hey,, it happened....it's still part of the evolution....

  • WHAT `s THAT ?

  • Sned! stop watching this!... Cal singing 'Never Again' through the guitarists legs is pretty amazing tho' mate, really brings the songs message home (yeah right!) Coots

  • @BoycottStabb hahaha u made my day

  • fuck. I clicked on the "wrong" Discharge again!

  • wow, what happened to DISCHARGE? LONG HAIR and shit, the sound is good but the younger discharge was much more stylish, WHY was awsome...

  • is this a joke?

    kill me now.

  • punk discharge were better

  • i actually bought grave new world. its so bad that it's great to listen

  • It's Mike Terrana playing Drums?

  • piss off discharge metal!!

  • I like both Grave New World and Hear Nothing...etc and I treat them both like different bands. Besides Disensitise and Societies Criminal...etc are both fine recordings as well. Never liked Shooting Up The World much, too doom laden. On the whole a band which takes in a lot of influences and influenced so much more. WOuld love to see Cal with them one more time

  • how the fuck are people on here talking shit on a pioneering band, saying what their sound is "supposed" to be. did they ever say they were trying to sound like a desert or bombed out building? they're supposed to sound like the band they are in whatever form they want to be. yeah i don't like this as much but it's not about what any of us want them to be. hail discharge, broken bones... whatever. it's all awesome.

  • Not what Discharge were about!

  • Sonically this sounds fine, however if you’re going to have guitarist that looks like John Sykes, you better make sure that he can play like him. I believe this is Andy Green on guitar & he’s flat out wretched. Both his guitar tone & leads reeks. Having said that, I rather see this line up perform than the current one. I saw Discharge during their 05 US tour & they were fuckin’ brutal, I even bought the tour edition CD which was worse. This is 11 years after Decontrol & people change! BFD!!

  • lol at the comments....sometimes covers work and sometimes not and this definately not.

Lacks the power of the original .. piss weak vocals and poxy guitar sound...indeed I hope... Never Again : )

  • I remember hearing in the mid 80's that Cal, the singer, was attacked and castrated by ultra right wing goons representing The National Front. He refused to take hormones so his voice went way up. Even so, Discharge ceased being Discharge as we knew them after 1984. Too bad.

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN

i don't think so...just look at the last album that discharge did with cal (it's the self-titled one) his voice is powerful as normal

  • @ChaosGnek, Did you ever hear their 1986 album "Grave New World" ? Cal sounds like a mouse on helium. Listen to him in this video. Sure doesn't sound like he did in 1982. Not even close. I'm not saying the castration story is true. In fact, I've never been able to confirm it, but I heard the story often in the mid 80's, and on the next album "Grave New World", he sounded like a freak. From 1982 to 1984, Discharge were fucking great.

  • this band was never meant for the big stage

  • why!? why!?why!? but WHY!!??

men women and children cry and scream in pain from these vocals.

  • Fair points about crossover, metal influences etc, but this song works best as a horrendous violent rush that grabs you by the throat and shakes you mercilessly until you promise not to like war.

By playing big venues and singing instead of barking they lose their subtle lack of subtelty.

They only had a couple of musical ideas, but they were damn good ones, and when they started farting about they lost a lot of their power. Cool that they experimented, pity it didn't turn out too great.

  • @groinhat exactly, man. d-beat is supposed to have a real doomy, chaotic, post-appocalyptic feel. the sound of it is supposed to describe a world turned into an endless expanse of desert and bombed-out cities from international nuclear war. it's not really supposed to sound polished... which this does...

i also think it's cool how discharge added and experimented with different elements of metal. but, cal just took it too far... he forgot where they came from...

  • @Metalbrain89 you're ridiculous, so i ridiculed you.

  • @mrghastly

i'm ridiculous? your mother's ridiculous, you son of a bitch lmao!

  • sounds like someone kicked him in the balls and never removed their foot, it sucks cause he used to sing pretty good

  • Cal Hucknall............. Simply bad.

  • Who is that singing David coverdale?

  • which year is this?

  • well, i do not think that this is really bad. i think his voice is ok. only the stage is a little to huge ^^ to me, there always was a little touch of metal in the music of discharge, wasn't it?

  • very bad rocker direitoso.

  • WTF IS THIS

  • Great Heavy rock band.I like them and Judas Priest also :)

  • Ohh Gross... When They Were Glam...

  • Well knock me down with a feather! Much better in the late 70's early 80's.I've seen them play at least 6 time's but then again I was pissed most of the time, so I apologise for not reconising cal! With his long hair!!.

  • What a pile of shite!! Whats the singer been inhaling? Helium?much better in the late 70's with cal on vocals!

  • @marthall73 That IS Cal.

  • hahaha

  • WTF.......nooooo

  • fuck metallica !!!!!

  • Yup!!!.Metallica dont have nuthin on these D-Beat gods!

  • fuckin hell thats terrible i cant beleive this is discharge get back to stoke quick

  • sober dr.rockso on vox....hahaha.. discharge is the shit...

  • awesome vocals, Discharge metal days rules.

  • I never knew Axl Rose sang for Discharge...

  • Seriusly what happened to the real Discharge, this singer is shit!

  • Unfortunately its the same singer. Sad but true.

  • Cal what the fuck happened to you? Dont sound like the discharge i remember. Like a really bad cover version.

  • fucking awful

  • purple color beauty

  • Pass the chesse puffs, please.

  • donde fue grabado este video?

    esta banda es genial!!!!

    d-beat rulez!!!!!

  • do-caralho!!!

  • Comment removed

  • died on an overdose of pop!

  • this makes me want to cry

  • i feel the same...

  • this song needs to be yelled not sang like a fucking quiet riot song

  • LMAO true.... so tis is Dis in their what "metal" years?

  • i discharge metallari

  • Muahahahaha,is this a joke????

  • that is cal

  • esto no es metal , es punk! asi como la banda

  • What the fuck! wheres Cal? this cunt looks like mick hucknall and sounds like him. 47yr old punk!

  • ha ha...thats funny....i think cal is singing with simply red now

  • is that tezz or cal?

  • worst period of this band i do not know why they tried this cal could not sing traditionally what a dick should have stuck to hardcore.

  • They only look a bit metal. And thats oke.

  • They were playing metal at this era...alot of the uk band did so.

  • I wouldn't call this metal. Only two riffs and with a punky sound ads well.... It is a bit metallike nut still.

  • I agree with you on this matter..Alot of the uk punk bands were into Motorhead...that is were they get their trash sound from.

  • I kinda like the "metal" sound

  • that song is not metal

  • I agree with the name of the song

"Never Again".... will Discharge be the same

  • this is even worse than i feared.

  • Che merda!

  • this isn't my user name but i'm definitely inclined to say this is the worst era of discharge

  • I fuckin' hate pony tails i was a pukey metler till I saw D.O.A. and G.B.H. never looked back

  • its like jumping on the anthrax bandwagon i even think hes trying to do an yank accent!

  • yes disappointing compared to the early stuff , but come on its not that bad

  • Weak as piss and fucking awful vocals! I grew up with Discharge ( the band not a medical condition!) and I was so fucking pissed off at this metal thing they went through.

I'm not against metal, there are some great bands out there but for fucks sake! Discharge were never meant to be fucking metal!!!!

  • tottaly agree

  • @RomliIronfist

I actually enjoy all eras of Discharge. They had a pretty metallic sound even back in the beginning. A lot of bands did this in the mid to late 80's. Trying the Crossover/Grind sound. This era they sound much like DRI/Nuclear Assault. I understand how you feel though. GANG GREEN and SSD, should never have gone METAL, but it is the artists choice. How long can you keep sounding like LP friggin ONE.

  • @RomliIronfist Totaly with you..

  • @RomliIronfist Well when you really think about it what is considered 'metal' today has been ripped off from the hardcore punk sound from the early 80s. Heavy Metal was so bankrupt with it's sound and relevancy that bands had to latch and steal from the local punk rock scene from the early 80s. A lot of people into metal today have no idea that this is the case.

  • @RomliIronfist they are great! did you know ratos de porão? hardcore band from brazil, they go to the same way, some trash metal influence, but they still punks!

  • this is fucking weak

  • cal should be shot for this!! its a disgrace!!!

  • being a metalhead i like this side of discharge, dont get me wrong i hated grave new world, but this crossover style discharge is cool

  • went to the barber NEVER AGAIN went to the barber NEVER AGAIN
