  • Great sound and promo, thanks

  • Those who purchased a few LP's 35-45 years ago were buying a piece of a Musical Renaissance. As profound as the Great Art of the 16th Century and the Great Classical Music of the 18th Century. Hundreds of years from now this music wil be viewed exactly that same way. We complain how the music of the present weakly imitates and has no substance. A fool's folly! The best Artists of the 20th Century Music Renaissance can not be duplicated any more easily than Mozart or the Sistine Chapel.

  • iiiiiiiiiiiiiifeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllfreeeeeeeeeeee

  • Amazing bassline!

  • Old Man Again: God this song is MY mantra... This is all we all wanted; free from judgement, free to absolutely LOVE, and be loved... I came back from hell and have been searching for this "I Feel Free" moment since 1968... Feel the energy... Feel the emotion... I have and in many ways It has saved me...

  • Great Mix ! Thanks !

  • @videocanone You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Reminds me of the time my friend Doug told me that Ginger Baker had fallen into his drum kit at a concert and was electrocuted. Doug was the Butthead of his era (guess that made me Beavis cuz I believed him)

  • ...those were the days.....

  • great song but why they dressed as monks

  • epic

  • Old Deer Park, Richmond 1966 ( and some clips of Richmond Park)

  • 13 people can`t feel.

  • This back when 3 pc. bands made music that last for a lifetime and it sounds a great today as it did back then....where are they now?

  • first and last song played on the old WBCN in boston long live the big matress

  • The beginning kind of reminds me Aquarius...

  • Maybe this has been asked before but how did you get such a fine stereo mix out of the original track. It was famously done as a sound-on-sound thing rather than mutitrack overdubs so I'm puzzled, esp.I'm thinking maybe those acetates that exist of the backing track might have had a part to play-yet I hear no scratches, pops and crackles.Anyway, however you did it,this new mix is a triumph.Well done!

  • @PeasGraveny I actually redid the mix. How I did it? Well.........

I really don't want to give it away. Not just yet. :-)

  • @PeasGraveny In studio authorized remix.....

  • @KDMensch That was my guess whoever takes credit at least...

  • Mmm...the bass line...

  • It's amazing that 3 muscians can pack a wallop

  • great song , great bass , great guitar solo

  • 13 people are in chains and need to be freed.

  • they created the true hard rock

  • I feel free...

  • Excellent sound......can even hear the tambourines well....

  • Is it just me or is 1:24 - 1:30 really dirty looking?

  • @SuperMickyG Its just you........ ; ) peace.

  • FANTASTIC.... Eric looks so pissed off.

  • great tune - true psychedelia - Cream is probably the greatest rock n roll trio of all time!

  • This...IS...the official "Gettin-Outta-The-Joint" tune of all time...Know what I mean....

  • Oh yeah ma brotha pass da pipe dude! .-)

  • my favorite song without it the world would incomplete

  • Gonna see clapton in 1 month :) im so happy

  • If you have audacity you can create your own remixes with a little patience

  • That drummer is a fuckin cool/strange/crazy/dude.

  • Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton, and Ginger Baker...three of the greatest musicians of all time!

  • When Clapton was God, i.e. before he kicked heroin and started singing Lay Down Sally.

  • @MaceMn and writing music that you listen to on your way to the golf course.

  • HA! fun:)

  • One of the most overlooked bands of the 60s. Probably one of their best cuts too.

  • Who is Nikki Minaj?

  • great song :D

  • Speeding convertible - with the top down... on the freeway , babe in your lap - with her top down 2 :-)

  • All those pre Disraeli Gears stereo mixes are total disasters so any chance to try and improve and fix them up is always welcome by me. Funnily enough I just spent a couple of days remixing this track myself and it's almost identical to what you got here though the vocals are a bit lower in mine. Neat job anyway.

  • @indeedydeed Thank you and you're right on Disraeli Gears. Trying to remix it is more of a lost cause. I tried to remix the majority of the tracks & they didn't sound right.

  • Cuando escuché esta rola dije puta madre 19 años de mi asquerosa vida sin haber escuchado esta pieza jejej

  • great song , great band

  • I love this song but hate the stereo mix. Where can I find this in mono? I've been searching everywhere.

  • @mattisprettycool buy an old album in mono, like from the mid 60s, like the old vinyl ones you know?

then if you really wanted you could put it on a disk

  • Great song, VERY UNDER-RATED IN MY OPINION!!!!

  • Bom bom bum bum bum ba :) love the intro to the song

  • @beatlesrevolution98 if i'd had a gramkid, i would want it to be just like you! i bet you are respectful....jus saying

  • @beatlesrevolution98 yes this way you can feel the music w/out having to do the buttons or shrooms! lol

  • @beatlesrevolution98 the guitar at 1:15 runs it close lol

  • *****

  • The harmony's are tight!

  • I can dig it!

  • LONG LIVE ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why do I keep seeing ads on Cream videos for this band 'Heavy Cream'? I get the impression they are a tribute to Cream, yet they don't do any Cream songs, nor do they sound like Cream...WTF?

  • @GrandFunker

"Heavy Cream" was an album title.

  • @oldartstudent Your point? That has nothing to do with the ads I'm seeing. One of which is on this vid.

  • @GrandFunker

That's odd. I saw no such ad on this video, yesterday or today.

  • @oldartstudent see where it says "playing at Hong Kong Garden, Philadelphia on March 08, 2011"? It's right under where it says Cream - I Feel Free in the info box. It's there on several vids for Cream songs. The band playing is called "Heavy Cream" follow the link.

  • @oldartstudent

Heavy Cream was the very first album I ever bought. Cool black line drawing of the band on a white album with a flap at the top. Jack Bruce has been my hero ever since.

  • Ahhh i feel free :)))

  • yes , music can do that , it enlightens the soul ~

  • Clapton, his younger days with Cream equals some great jam sessions!! Would have loved to see these guys perform 'live' back in the 60's. It's as if Clapton just kept on getting better, captializing on his amazing guitar playing, he's one of the best, and certain people call him thee BEST!!

  • never ages...superb

  • really good sound on this..thanks so much !

  • this song rocks.... apparently youtube plays in mono... only after a download does it becoe stereo... but saying that...it sounds perfect :) thanks

  • @ConcreteJungle27 In Soviet Russia, free feels you. Also, Justin Bieber, dislike bar, give me thumbs up and people who dislike this video are clearly cunts.

In other words, I'll do as I fucking well please.

  • Chuck Negron (formerly of Three Dog Night) just recorded a new version of this song, and it's GREAT------even better than THIS one, IMO! I do like this one, but I prefer Chuck's rendition; wish he'd post it on YouTube!

  • musicas de uma epoca q as musicas estavam muito menos sujeitas a industria!.. infelizmente, esse sonho parece ter acabado...

  • @rocrusal Speak English!!!!!!!

  • @jdrock14 please shut up. U understand that?

  • @AntaresInScorpius Of course I do, it's in ENGLISH, good job!!!!

  • holy crap what did I see this song on ?! something with skating??

  • sopranos

  • hard to run on acid or...?

  • awesome...grew up on this band and they shaped my adolescence...this is an amazing video for me...

  • @crackfarm76 Isnt it cool how over 40 years on, theyre shaping my adolescence now. asounding group. revolutionary music. Im 17, and have known of them for years, but just recently gave them a proper listen. i find cream particularly intriguing and compelling because of the huge sound they produce despite being a three piece. bruce, bake and clapton are all in the top 5 all time in their respective fields (in my opinion)

    brilliant band

  • @dermeisterrific that's really cool...yeah, i'm 34 and they shaped my adolescence in the 90's, when i discovered them...maybe they shaped my parents' adolescence' in the 60's as well;)!

  • Sopranos :) <3

  • So catchy !

  • My favorite song by them!! It's my feel good song. I also love how funny they are here! lol! <3

  • Comment removed

  • @alove170 LOL x

  • It's as if Ingmar Bergman were hired to do Hard Day's Night. Pretty funny - but in all the wrong ways. The song, itself, is of course brilliant. Who else could really play it? I've heard other artists try to do it - including Bowie - but it's hopeless. Only Cream can do this song. And maybe not any more - it was noticeably absent from their reunion shows.

  • @alove170

    choke

  • fookin awesome, real music proper music, goddam!!!

  • Love This Song: Makes me Feel Free! Yes!!!

  • what a dumb video - every group had to jump and run around in a field in those days, it was mandatory LOL

but what a great song! how many hours did i spend lying on the floor with my head between the speakers, in an altered state of consciousness, listening to this song? the sound of Clapton's outer space guitar was like nothing we had heard before, and it still sounds new over 40 years later.

  • @caraphyllis Most bands were probably jumping and running about in fields cos they'd just discovered dope, lol!

  • What blows my mind is Eric was only 21 when Cream formed. 21and already a legend!

  • Remember this from my sixth-form days circa 1966. The video footage is copied from the Beatles movies of that era i.e. madcap pranks and lots of running about. Still like the song though.

  • whoa, new stereo mix sounds sick

  • good song, foo fighters captured the essence of this song in their 5 songs & a cover ep.

  • @necromaster212121 no they didn't, they just tossed it off as an extra track, they basically copied the original but lost the vintage "valves and compressors" sound of the original

  • @gamester57 Its not copying if it's covering, and that post was just my opinion. You have to admit, between drumming for nirvana, scream, and QotSA, Dave Grohl knows how to make good music.

  • first time I listened to this stoned it was like a big drum and bass spaceship was flying above me, the rhythm guitar was a robot trapped in a little pod inside, and the lead guitar was a multi-coloured meteor shower. Nice!

  • @gamester57 I first heard this totalled on weed and E, great times!

  • utter genius

  • I feel free with JESUS!!!! Not starting a war; but I feel free in JESUS!!!!! Whats amazing, we all can feel free in JESUS.

  • @peacheslovesjesus I love Satan, but he doesn't give me much free time. Pity.

  • @RedcoatMic24 Keep it up, you will have all the time you want with him; in fact since you saud that, don't be surprised that he visits you personally to screw you over; and it won't feel nice. satan is not your homeboy, he doesn't like you, he hates, and would rather see you dead in the street and he would still set you on fire. But you know what; he wouldn't give you the time aof day, because he dowesn't feel you are worthy of him. It will just be a lower demon messing with you-U will learn.

  • @peacheslovesjesus Funny, I've made a load of jokes at Satan's expense and I've had no visit from him yet. Am I doing something wrong do you think? Maybe you're right, he hasn't called me at all.

Still, better than that long haired faggot Jesus, he's only interested in one thing and that's getting his ass rammed by me, it gets boring after a while. :\

  • @peacheslovesjesus

you know, all your information comes from a BOOK, or more a series of books. should god and the such exist, how do we know that satan isn't just some guy who got the short end of the stick (hell) and is actually a nice guy and god is just an asshat

  • @Mikkael365 because satan uses guys like u to do his dirty work. He knows that you are pliable and want to fit in with the world and are willing to say and do anything to be liked by the world. Come on, you WOULD LOVE TO KNOW GOD; admit it. HE loves you, but HE isn't going to beg you to do anything; its called free will. satan is not your homeboy. If u were to die today, you would go to hell, unless you accepted JESUS CHRIST as SAVIOR. satan isn't in hell, but you would be there and he laffs

  • @peacheslovesjesus

you do again realize that all your information comes from a series of fiction, because the idea of gods rival was not around during the time of jesus, it was 5c's after his birth. and again what makes you so sure that god actually loves us, what proof could you possibly present (besides the bible) that he even gives a crap about us. if he does exist, how do we know he even cares about us, he'd probably be to fucking busy creating galaxies and expanding the universe

  • peacheslovesjesus

Please tell me, I am interested. Do you consider Jesus to be the human incarnation of the biblical God, or a seperate being in the same way any man is a seperate being from his father?

  • @akiestoyole

Sorry mate, I can't read your comment. I can only speak English.

  • @I85PIES utiliza el traductor google

  • i love this song, its so mellow and relaxed, cream made some really good rockin music but this is a nice little gem from them

  • Marvelously smooth hi-hat work and tom-tom fills from Ginger Baker...

  • I was about 14 when this was on the radio...I remember being entranced by it. Wow how fucking lucky I was to grow up with music of this quality.

  • This tune goes togher so well with a Ferrari.

  • OK, you youngsters. Look back and see what it was like when ROCK WAS ROCK. There were no "images", we didn't have video, internet, etc. All we had was THE MUSIC. EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @VictoriaRu29 Eat my balls

  • @VictoriaRu29 it's time for Viagraaaa :-)

  • @VictoriaRu29 ye but with internet you listen it once more and with the internet more and more people will listen to it also whats your problem with videos and images?

  • @VictoriaRu29 Right ON !!!!!

  • @VictoriaRu29 we should feel bad for having access to all kinds of music ? you know that I can still listen to the rock from the 60's and 70's even thought I was not there to see the making ... the only difference is that I'm 18 and I can jump and run and feel truly free while listening cream :)

  • @damiqde6uq You shouldn't feel bad it's not your fault that particular record companys refuse to release and reissue certain material not all of these bands were popular even back in their day so if it wern't for some lovely He or She you would not be able too hear some music and it would be lost in time.

    .

  • i love how their voices blended together

  • the bass does the call and response bit with the vocals. how original was that?

  • @Pre0z your teacher obviously is the worst ever even if you dont like the sound you have to appreciate that cream was and still is the best band in its genre

  • @hamwrinkle I dont hold any grudges against Cream, I really enjoy Cream, but I just dont like this song, and it was my own analyzis.

  • WHy are they running with cigeretts in their hand? Sort of a promo thing?

  • @zappatx They're probably expoloring high in the 60's... not a bad time for a smoke :)

  • Thanks for the input stratman.I saw the DigiTech Eric Clapton Crossroads Pedal & thought he used some.It says the pedal duplicates 7 of his tones from selected songs. It only mentions 5 of the tones. It says he uses a rotary speaker on "Badge".It's one of the tones the pedal gets!

  • What kind of effects pedals did Eric Clapton use with Cream?

  • He only used a Vox Wah Wah pedal. Possibly a V846. Rumor has it that Clapton used a Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster in-between the 1959 or 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard and the Marshall 1962 Amp (known as the Bluesbreaker).

  • @Stratman78 Thats not what I heard Stratman, I swear, I dont know where you get your info, people always think they have the ultimate inside scoop. I actually heard he went to the store and bought a regular yellow onion and stuck a tab of LSD 25 in the onion then mounted the onion on his guitar with hash oil. Then he took a lemon and wrapped it around the bridge and installed his strings upside down..gee, if you're gonna pontificate, get your info straight ;)

  • @PlanTonto I'm sorry PlanTonto, I'll try extremely harder next time on getting my information correct. I also forgot to list the kind of capacitors and the resistors used in the Marshall Super Leads as well as the vacuum tubes. What was I thinking? I know I have to get it right! LOL

However, there is a correction. The only time he used the Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster (if he did) & the Marshall 1962 Amp was when he was with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers.

  • @Stratman78 What's your favorite E.C song?

  • @jdrock14 Surprisingly, it'd have to come down to either "The Core" off 'Slowhand' or "Let It Grow" off '461 Ocean Boulevard.'

  • @Stratman78 Not so surprising, I like "The Core" and I think "Let It Grow" is one of the sweetest, most underrated songs he ever did. My fav is "Badge" with "Let it Rain" and "Why Does Love Have To Be So Sad" as close seconds! The thing is, there's so many more jammed into the top 5. Tough decisions!!
