Every Soviet country, Union member or puppet, is doing much better off now then they ever did under communist rule, ask anyone who lived under communist rule and they will agree (unless they where one of the few who profited from it). The only place better before then now was Yugoslavia because of the ethic cleansing that occurred during the wars.
