@NorthSea0il I don't think the sucessor will be as great as the original was in its day. I am afraid Honda may have lost their passion. I hope it turns out to be an awsome machine, but I am not holding my breath. I will just drive my 91 NSX and enjoy it until Honda does release something worthy of replacing it with.

But to see a true NSX-R with its throaty v-tec roar, is a rare sight, therefore more appreciated than the common 355-360-430's.

evos and wrxs are build with a different approach and objective. same with the nsx or any japanese sports car for the matter. its meant to give consumers alternatives and choices as each consumers have different preferences on what they want in a car.

ferraris use a form of variable valve control. It's called CVVT (Continuous Variable Valve Timing) vs Hondas VTEC ( Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) .

The thing that impreses me the most is it's high speed performance. Check out the Evo and the WRX STI. They've got the same power, closer gear ratios, but their acceleration rate are very poor at high speed, but the NSX hasn't got this problem.

This is a perfect car. Fast on the straights with only 280PS, but also fast and wicked on the corners. This is a real Japanese Legend. Sadly, Honda had cancelled the new NSX project which is nearly finished.

I just hope to see it competing with the GTR.
