He chooses to change the King James Version Bible at will to make it more accurate to the original manuscripts, even though no one alive has ever seen the originals and they have been lost for thousands of years, because over time, the church as well as constantine omitted certain passages.

And believing that praying to a jewish carpenter who was executed as a criminal 2000 years ago helps in any of your problems doesn't seem to be a very rational decision as well. Thinking and reasoning about my problems has helped me most of the time, while as talking to an imaginary friend in the clouds does not seem to be that helpful....

I believe this is the devil having people put faith in a date so that when it does not come to pass these believers will lose faith and fall away. It's strange to hear scriptures recited with a laugh track or studio audience in the background, but the guy does make a point. Jesus is quoted in scripture saying he doesn't know the day or hour, or anyone else. Only God the Father. So, if some people believe this May 21 thing, that's their choice, but it contradicts scripture. It will be interesting to say the least to hear all the responses in less than 5 weeks.

In a way, I kind of feel sorry for Harold Camping, I mean if he truly does believe that the world is going to end on May 21st, then he must be a little bit mad, but then again, I find it a bit odd that he's asked people for donations to go around America to warn people about the so called rapture, I mean that kind of makes me think he might be a scammer. Yeah, good point. I am a Christian and I do believe in the Bible, but everything that Harold Camping is preaching completely contradicts it. He chooses to change the King James Version Bible at will to make it more accurate to the original manuscripts, even though no one alive has ever seen the originals and they have been lost for thousands of years, because over time, the church as well as constantine omitted certain passages.
