William Rodriguez appropriated the story of a true 9/11 hero, Pablo Ortiz, who climbed to the damaged upper floors of WTC1 to clear away rubble and break open doors, He saved dozens of trapped people and died when the tower fell.

The claim that Willie saved hundreds on the lower 39 floors is contrary to death statistics that show that 99% of the civilians beneath the impact zones evacuated successfully. Willie's story is not true. See my video:

At 5:58 he says his name and then lies. He says "I am the last survivor of the North Tower." 14 people were trapped in a stairwell in the North Tower and didn't get out until five hours after the collapse.

His lawsuit against Bush was full of crazy stuff like pod-planes and no-planes theories, and it was thrown out of court. He claimed in it that he single-handedly rescued 15 people. Now he's changed the story to "led to safety" 15 people, in effect admitting that he lied all those years.

@doughauf Underneath the impact zones, 99% of the civilians survived. Survival rates on Willie's 39 floors were no higher than on the other 140 floors under the impact zones. Willie claims his Key of Hope saved hundreds. If that were true, thousands should have died on the 140 floors he couldn't reach. They didn't die. He's a liar.

@punxsutawneybarney The people on the higher floors unless they evacuated died. They could get to all of them. This man is telling the truth. How could he have even gotten to the 104 floor. Those flowers where blocked off, or would have everyone gotten out. What about the 911 calls three minutes before the plane impact. This is not made up, it was heard by everyone at the control center.

@doughauf  There were 15,000 civilians underneath the impact zones. Only 150 of them died. There is no credible evidence that any of them were trapped behind locked fire exit doors, though this is the basis for Willie's claim that he was "opening doors and letting people out" and thus saved hundreds. Not one of these hundreds will come forward to thank him. He's a liar and a fraud.

@doughauf NIST says 15,000 under the impact zones, with another 2800 above.. Normal population at 11:00 a.m. was 50,000. Striking before 9:00 was a strange thing for terrorists to do.

@punxsutawneybarney There are many different story's on this subject. I read one where that the South Koreans where involved along with the sicilian heroin mob. That president of Italy was sort of a dirty person after WWII. It is interesting to learn.
