we had 3 in stroud depot,but only one was ever on the road,they were great buses to drive.

13627 climbing ...... this bus once served the very steep Cotton Road in Hong Kong up to the mid-levels too. Very heavy duty considering the powertrain configuration compared with commuter buses.

These buses actually aren't so suitable on those stop-and-go commuter routes. Think what would happen if these buses went to London Transport......

The reversing at 1:11 characterizes German series gearing: you've got to thrash up a bit to get it going when reversing.

I remember seeing these here in Cheltenham on the 46..ad the races buses..hence the train station and eveything..great buses

OMG they really are the old Leyland olympians from Citybus. The interior and the chairs looked exactly the same as the ones used on an 88R
