Nice clip as usual you have great ideas to illustrate your music (like lightnin up the Derbouka) but the best is still your playin and the poetry which is underlying !
Oh là là! You're so amazing Pascal! You're our "artistic soul" (expression translated from Bosnian)! I'm sure you could even play some good punk/grunge/hard core!just name it! :))) What can I say? Very soulful. You make sound your guitar/oud/anything looking like a string, as if it was your voice, you know, as if it was alive.Love it. This video is also arabic visuals that work sooooooo good. That frame of you playing, so much atmosphere! I just can't express in words the rejoicing effect this music has on my heart. Musstest du eigentlich lange üben, bis die Oud so klingt, wie man es hier hören kann? Klingt das automatisch so "orientalisch", weil keine Bünde vorhanden sind oder spielst du bestimmte arabische Tonleitern?
Also die Skala ist keine bestimmte arabische Maquam ( oder vielleicht ist es ja auch eine, aber ich weiß nicht, welche...).Ich versuche halt, das es so klingt, eher intuitiv. Theoretisch kann man auf der Oud aber alles machen, denn es gibt ja, wie du schon sagst, keine Bünde.
Ich spiele sonst wirklich selten Oud, vielleicht 2-3 mal im Jahr. In letzter Zeit aber etwas öfter, weil ich endlich mal neue Saiten aufgezogen habe *schwitz* ... :-)
sounds great Pascal, also, I love the look of this video alot, made me pick up my toy quena and zamponia here, both worked real well for a nice sound to this, but to bad, my good zamponias and my professional Quena (flute of the Andes) is 3 hours away in my studio, :-(, these toys here are not in tune at all.

Das Videomaterial ist komplett Playback...
Ich nehme ja nicht mit der Webcam auf, deshalb filme ich auch nicht beim Aufnehmen, außer bei Solostücken.
