  • i love t -rex pedals! don't have any yet, their compressor pedal is on my list for a long time. i should try the delay too, it sounds good.

and the little girl in the video rocks!!!

  • Hi Brett and Sadie! Brett have you reviewed the T-Rex Mudhoney (single channel)?

What about a Dr. Scientist Woofer Wailer? I own both, and they continue to blow my toupe into the street. Have you done any Liquid Sound Double units such as the Route 66 or the H₂O?

    How Come?

  • @llotedbraincase You sure ask a lot of questions! Heheh. Mudhoney: Yes, do a search on my channel's front page. Dr Scientist Woofer Wailer, Liquid Sound Route 66 and H20: No, I only review what I own or, lately, what I'm sent. Neither company has come forward with demo units. Requests for me to cover that stuff should come from you, the viewer, as they often think I'm fishing for freebies. I'm not fishing for freebies as I have more than enough pedals as it is. Cheers, Brett K.

  • Awesome, teaching your kids about guitar FX pedals...who cares about Teletubbies!

  • hey burg,

how does this go vs the Tech 21 boost DLA and the subdecay echobox?

    Thanks

  • @nickmulhall I'd take the Echobox over either of them anyday - for sound. For functionality the Tech 21 is probably the go. The Replica was moved on shortly after this video was made.

  • @Burgerman666 thanks for the reply.. I own the T-Rex replica and have been noticing its shortcomings of late. For me, tap tempo is essential which is why I have been looking at the tech 21. however, I also really like the flashing LED of the replica, which the tech 21 does not have. If the echobox had tap tempo with a flashing LED, I'd already own it..

  • I must say, I really like your videos. Y U ask ? well, for one the recording sounds really good on UTUBE unlike most demos. Also, you're a good player and know how to push the pedal. Keep them comen ... I want this T-Rex

  • Real helpful. Just picked one up!

  • Great video and verry helpfull!

  • Hi Sadie! Awesome job, good on ya!

Do you know what microphone is that in front of your dad's Laney?

    All the best!

  • @ElDuderinio666 Dad used a Violet Design 'The Amethyst Standard' mic in front of his amp. He says he had it right up close to the Greenback, a little off centre. :)

  • Idk brother, sounds pretty sweet to me... That distortion box is great as well. You've got good taste, my friend! You ever played through a BK Butler Tube Driver? If so, how does that compare to the T-rex Moller in your opinion?

    Great demo!!

  • @shango02005 Nope, I haven't tried a BK Butler drive, sorry. I'd love to one day though. One day.. :) The Moller's great though!

  • Can this pedal do that delayed big room echoed out sounds from EVH?

  • @xXNeoShredderXx Hmm. Probably not as well as you'd want. If I'm not mistaken, that sound was a big plate reverb panned heavily to one side (1st album).

  • @Burgerman666 What would do the trick, besides cannibalizing his fingers? :3

  • I've got the awesome Replica running into a Marshall JVM and AX cab which sounds brilliant along side the Tremonti Phaser and Room Mate. Ordering a Moller after watching this :)

  • Do you find that the T Rex Replica sounds compressed at all?

  • Very nice delay. Natural and smooth.

So funny - is summer in Australia, here in Europe is winter, we have snow!!!

  • Wow. So different. 39C here tomorrow. Yikes! Hey, thanks for watching and my regards to all in your fine (and freezing) part of the world. :)

  • Darn the moller souds really nice

do you reckon this delay is better than the echo box?
