  • That looks really cool!!!!!!!! :)

  • oohh so the flowers were blue not purple or vise versa

  • is that the music from the nut cracker?

  • @PlainSeason I'm actually not sure, it's from a cd we have just labelled classical music lol. But the name of the music is listed under the video if you're interested :)

  • When you started to make the polen, at 7:22 I thought: "Man, this is so awsome!!". I really laughed, when seconds later at 7:25 your "Cool, yeah?" comment apeared, because it felt as if you could read my mind at the moment.

Loved the vid, thank you so much. :)))

  • @guroranko lol, cool! :D

  • WOW... Beautiful :-)

  • What book are you doning this beautiful work out of!!??

  • @sharonkatz77 I don't know which book she was using, but the direct piping on a cake with buttercream is the style of The Cupcake Cafe - Ann Warren in New York City. There is a book (don't know if that will be helpful). Ann Warren also made an appearance on Martha Stewart in the 1990's and did an AMAZING demo. Try to find the Martha Stewart Cake Decorating video (I have it on VHS). It is wonderful!

  • Were the flowers actually purple, or blue? Because the colour looks completely different from the video to the picture. (:

  • @Kelliee1 lol, it's weird how that works! The flowers were actually purple :D

  • @Kelliee1 he show a second cake with same decoration but diferent colours so customer can see colour options- its obvious

  • @mrtango360 I got a reply a few months ago by the maker of this video, and she said they were actually purple... So it's the same cake.

  • it is so nice to eat.....

  • gigilabrador, stripe the bag (one color down one side, the other down the other), and rotate the frosting tip in the coupler until you get the effect you like. it looks like serious has the narrow end of the rose tip centered in the purple and the wide end centered in the white frosting.

  • how can I place the icing in the piping bag so that the white color is inside the orchid and the purple is outside?

  • @gigilabrador If you click on my name it will take you to the rest of my videos, I show how to do it in the Pharmacy Cake video.

  • PLEEEEEASE tell me what brand you use to get such VIVID colors!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

  • @ballerinarachet11 lol-they are the Wilton gels, found in craft stores like Michael's and AC Moore, or all purpose stores like Target and Walmart.

  • The best banana cake I have ever tried, although not bread, it is awesome:

    oven at 350

Mix all wet ingredients+oatmeal, cook in microwave until oatmeal is soft & allow to cool

    1 1/2c sugar,1/2c molasses,3/4c coconut oil,1 1/2 tsp.vanilla,3/4c plain yogurt,2c mashed bananas,1/8c tahini, 2c quick cooking oatmeal

add 3 eggs after cooled...mix very well, then add the dry ingredients

2c all purpose wheat flour, 3/4tsp. baking powder, 1 1/2tsp baking soda, 3/4 tsp. salt

    I used a 9x13 glass pan

    try it!
