How come in more or less every part (the five parts of first episode, the previous part and this part) someone asks if it is yaoi? Is it so important that you can't trust your eyes but have to ask it yourself?

ATTENTION PEOPLE. This was one of the original yaoi. That is, it's a very early yaoi, so unlike more recent ones, it's less blatant about the relationships. Also, I've heard that the manga expressed more about it.

i'm neither a yaoi nor shonen ai fan,but there was one i dropped and only saw the trailer called KIMERA and there was a shonen ai that i really saw because it had a great story and i didn't even realised it was a shonen ai when i started seeing called DESCENDANTS OF DARKNESS,when i realised it i didn't quit seeing it lol

You guys have to realize that these first three episodes were released in 1989 (Creation year of Ranma 1/2, Ronin Warriors, Kimba the White Lion. Only 3 years after Robotech & Vampire Hunter D.) Over 2 decades ago.

There were very few anime titles even out in America. There was no such thing as "yaoi anime" til Kaze to Ki no Uta. Two years later? We were given the gift of Earthian.

You yaoi fans now a days have NO idea how lucky you all are! Enjoy!

@Ownaweasel I'd call it more shounen ai, or softer boys love, to most people yaoi has a porn connotation attached to it. The manga does indeed express the love between Kagetsuya and Chihaya more, but it's not graphic.

no it most def isn't yaoi but shounen ai which is a little bit diferent.
