obviously they're trying to come up with a riff idea and lars isnt playing an actual song hes just keeping time, your judgement of all of his drumming skill based on a 30 second clip is both wrong and iggnorant

once again people shouldnt be bashing lars, because no matter what you think of someone at least respect what they do musically, lars' drumming on most songs brings a new flavor that drives the energy of the song and most drummers cant even do that, of course there are songs that arent super technical on drums but who cares its not a competition its about music and for the past 25 years lars had made some of the worlds best music

*james (and cliff) have made some of the worlds best music in the past 25 years, the riffs and solos carry the songs and made the immense songs that we hear today, i have my opinion and you have yours, if you haven't heard dave lombardo playing with metallica it just goes to shows how a great song sounds 100x better with a great drummer

i have heard it and frankly lambordo is good when he plays an actual beat (and the one he played was the one lars came up with for the song) its not like dave improvised and changed the song he just didnt fuck it up, but i do respect your opinion but at least do the same and show lars respect. all he is doing is creating music that he loves wether anyone else likes it or not
