  • Screening by size is the most common application for vibratory screens, and very sufficient for most.

Screening - or separating, more precisely - by color or material type is an entirely different application requiring different machines than shown here. Also most accurately done by human hands although I don't know much about that specific type of screening specialty as it is not what our machines are intended for.

  • It only separate the flakes by sizes, not also by the type of plastics? It will be very useful if it can separate by type and color at once. Screening only is nothing!

  • This machine is used in a separation process to 'classify' recycled plastic debris. The plastic scrap, such as old CDs, DVDs, Cable ties, and more, has been processed by a shredder that results in various 1/2" dia. and smaller sized balls and chunks. This JVI Screen then separates the fractions of material into two parts, larger than 1/4" dia. and smaller than 1/4" diam. - for further processing.

  • What this machine good for?

  • Also note that more machines are placed at the discharge end of this feeder, to further process the separated material, it is not just dumped into a bin all together like our test video here shows. One part is directed to one conveyor and the 2nd part is diverted to another conveyor, to process downline.
