It may be true that most people prefer "foreign music" in the big cities, like in the capital of Peru. But I'm sure that in the smaller towns people still appreciate their music, like this Huayno. Coracora es la cuna del Huayno y el Yaravi Ayacuchano!
Im sure they are, the video doesnt look that old. That music is just not lucrative for them in Peru. Unless they can travel to europe then they probably dont do too well. The funny thing is that you probably know more about the music than the average Ayacuchano, and they probably know more about 80's rock than you do. Weird. They love the 80's rock.
No me men that not always true, yes i must admit that peru its a country that doesnt value its music very much but in ayacucho( huamanga, puquio, huanta, etc) thats their music, if you go to the capital( Lima) then...sadly most people prefer foreign music such as rock
