Been reading all these comments of people saying Jon's voice doesn't sound right. Doesn't sound like he used to. Wanna know what happened? 20+ years of screaming out those songs and taken it's toll on his voice. You try hitting those notes for 3 minutes and see how your voice feels. He has done it for years, night after night. I played for 20 years just around my surrounding states in small clubs and bars and I know what it will do to your voice. Just be happy they still want to play for us

richie ALWAYS rips out sweet harmonics. He is so fucking good at filling verses with harmonics and using his wammy at the same time for an awesome sound. A lot of people also write of his solos as being mediocre, but if anybody takes a look at richie's solos on guitar, they are fucking hard man. Richie writes some really hard to play solos, and he just does it so effortlessly. He is truly a great player and has the best personality musically for someone like Jon. Bon Jovi has never been better.

I think what EXPL721 is trying to get at is that the song lacks the same energy that it does on the studio album...and I agree it sounds like they are playing at 3/4 the speed of the original. That's a performance choice not age. Even then age shouldn't be a factor...just look at Steve Tyler or Mick Jagger. Jon Bon Jovi wants all his music to sound like a country ballad now. How sad. How emo. What a disappointment for the fans.

Vitually he has picked up 15 million more fans then he had on the "Have A Nice Day" Album. And YES it is age. 23+ years, of touring, A world tour for a 47 year old. That's pretty damn good. Aerosmith is'nt doing a World Tour, He clearly said he wasn't, YES a Gig here and there, Nothing major like this. They recorded the Album back in the 80's. That was almost 30 years ago man.
