Afterwards she appeared in TV shows and eventually low low budget films again which were not well known..her last film was "The Morgue" which was bad...it's sad she went from that to this..but she's currently writing a book

The sound of the construction of the "stone pilings" was the scariest part for me. You'd have to figure that they got actual people to stand in the total darkness of the deep woods to create that sound.
And then the next morning when the sun came up and they actually saw the small "towers of stone".
I thought this movie was real myself.

Watched this movie back when I was nine, the ending startled me a little but It didn't effect me too much. I don't believe this mockumentary should have receive the critical acclaim that it did, but I guess the realism of fear got everyone to assume this was all true.

LOL, the Backstage ad made it sound like they were looking to recruit cast for a snuff film. If they had 2,000 responses...it must be fairly easy to pull a snuff film together, even these days.

ah poor heather donahue she almost had a career i saw her in a handful of forgetable roles then nada. at least she got some work the other two guys went no where. I assume she is retired from acting.

@mjnoir1 I heard she does guest lectures at acting schools and stuff. If you get the right salary and invest it cleverly you can be in one great film and live out the rest of your life as a millionaire, even with the economy in the shitter.
