  • I don't know why, but when I try to do this, the text always gets put to the inside of the path and not the outside.

  • Thanks for the offset tip!

  • Wow! Very helpful! Thank you so much! :D

  • Many thanks, very helpful

  • Thanks!

  • how do you add circular text to a already circular image?...like on a state flage/seal...you have double circles with text written inbetween the lines

  • This was very helpful. Thank you.

  • you could have put a gun to my head and there was no way I would have figured this out by reading the e book -or any other book! THANKS!!

  • I have a problem, when I follow your steps, the curvature of text and circle are different! Any suggestion how to fix it?

    Thanks for your useful video!

  • Thumbs up brother. Nice work.

  • WOW, Thanks!

    Very helpful :)

  • Thanks for the tutorial. I'm not using it on the circles, but on a bent line. All works, but when I press Alt+right arrow, it takes aaaaaages for it to get where I want! Anyone have a solution for this?

  • Im using Mac and it's not working. Holding shift down does not select both the circle and the text. Are the keyboard shortcuts different?

  • Thank you!

  • Great tutorial! Thanks!

  • Thanks save me money!

  • Thanks Bro....

  • Thanks for the tutorial. Michael

  • Good video. However, some things did not work for me. What would be helpful , is at the beginning of each tutorial, you specify the version number of the software you are using as well as the platform (Mac/PC/Linux) and the OS you are running on. That way, we can figure out what the differences are and potential sources of problems. Thanks

  • thanks dude !

  • Nice tutorial, but for centering the text I'd recommend just rotating the circles, since using kerning for this can be a little awkward if you need to rotate the text backwards (letters disappearing and stuff).

  • Not at all sure how you put the second text object in, when I click it selects everything, can anyone help

  • Woah.. I can hardly believe I did this! This was such a great tutorial. My first inkscape thingy. You rock heathenx.

  • OOps ignore that question. I found a little circle in the top bar which when clicked allows the circles. sheesh..

  • Here's the thing. First time using inkscape after download. Can't get a circle! Can get anything else but not a circle. Any ideas why?

  • gracias make more youre helping lots

  • thanks for this

  • thanks a lot!!!

  • what software is this

  • Awesome tutorial. Are you running Windows or Linux by the way? This is exactly what I was looking for. Do you recommend any good books on how to use Inkscape?

  • Thank you supporting the community

  • Thank you! This really helped me. I still don't know why I have to do dynamic offset when I need to place text into circle, but it works.

  • Thanks,

You are making Incscape easer :)
