Yep your getting it. It is the right hand that is the trick.I don't think I have ever seen Jeff play with a pick. I never could do that right hand blue grass type pickin...Thats good you are learning lots of styles...since I am from Texas..I have always been an Eric Johnson fan...keep on playin your doing a great job~!

Nice Yasi. However, keep practicing this solo there is a wealth of info in it that you can't really get anywhere else. Plus all the sublte bending and semi tone phrases are really hard to hear and play correctly... it takes some time. Check out the tune "Brush with the Blues" off Who Else... great stuff.

I'm deeply impressed by your prodigious, ever advancing quality of artistic interpretations. It is astonishing that at 14, you had nearly mastered Steve Vai levels of technical accomplishment, but I feel you are on the right track here in discovering the subtle nuances and hyper advanced phraseology of Jeff Beck.
