    Alan Sloan was the violinist for the Dregs around the time that this song was recorded and this is Kansas, NOT The Dregs.... sheesh

  • @TheTimananda Actually this version of T.O. Witcher first appeared on The Great Spectacular which I believe was released circa 1976 and was the first Dixie Dregs album. It did make a more polished re-appearance on a Kansas album years later in the 1980's.

  • Heh. This appeared on a Kansas album with Steve Walsh as a "co-writer." I think Morse/Walsh had a Lennon-McCartney thing going where they just gave eachother co-write credits for all their Kansas tunes.
