Famous line "I can't keep up with him". Trust me, a 50 trim that's correctly tuned is hard to mess with. I know I have one built by Realtune Performance, boosting 27psi on high boost. 19psi on low boost is hard to mess with also.
racing an AWD vs FWD from a roll is just as pointless as dig racing AWD vs FWD on street tires. Both races end with an unfair advantage and one car far ahead. at least when were talking equal horse power.
It's not that the STI is slow, they come fast out of the box. It's just that STIs are AWD and from a roll they're useless. From dig, they get out quick but then they don't accelerate quickly because the motor divides the horsepower into 4 wheels. SRT-4s are faster from roll because the engine only divides the power into 2 wheels.

Subaru STIs have more Horsepower and more torque than the slow ass SRT4s.
SRT4s have 230 HP while STIs have 300 to 305 HP more power.
If I have alot of money to Mod my Saab 9-3Viggen Convertible it can beat SRT4s ass with something like a 450 to 500 HP Saab Turbo Engine.
