I have to admit, Heath is an amazing actor. From A Knight's Tale, to Brokeback Mountain, to the Dark Night.... He just blows my mind with his ability to adapt and become a new person... Truly incredible.

Yeah he didn't win all these awards because he passed away. Yeah he didn't win all these awards because he passed away. In the entire history of the oscars only 2 actors have won awards after death (Peter Finch for Network, Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight) but posthumous nominations have happened many times. Im not sure how many posthumous wins the golden globe has but it cant been that much different

i dont think some people fully understood heath when he was alive. Because if they did he would have been offered every single role.
he was always so different, kinda like johnny depp. Because he never did roles that were boring or normal. He always chose things that were so difficult for a lot of actors but he always did it perfectly.
It is the saddest thing that he died just as he was becoming recognised. And people dont know how much his death affected Australia.
