Wicked. I hardly remember Sailor Moon, despite being a big fan, but I agree that this video pretty much made itself. The bad guys won, more or less, and TSO's take on this song (It's Carol of the Bells, for those who don't know. The song as they titled it is Christmas Eve in Sarajevo) is, in my opinion, a very "bad guys win" sort of song.

Mmm. Plus, the melodic, soft points matched exactly with the realization of defeat while the huge, big band "dun dun duns" (can't describe it any other way, haha) are emphatically an "all hope is lost."

I love all the parts of this song, so varying, but formed together to make a unified piece.

I think it's kind of easy in a way, 'cause when I have lyrics, I usually feel obligated to follow the story the lyrics set, but without words, I can make my own story. It's sort of more open-ended. Depends on the person I guess. =]

Well, they're the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I dunno if they're actually Siberian...I would assume so, but I don't know too much about the members, I just know I love their songs. They're a group of musicians that released a Christmas album that became very popular, this song, Christmas Eve Sarajevo, being one of the most popular because it's such an amazing song, I think. =P
