The funny thing about this question is though my Asian friends have come across people asking them, "you look Chinese" or assumingly non Asians would think all Asians are Chinese. Dumb? Yes. Clever? No. Vice-versa you have dark-skined Chinese and another Asian person thinks the dark-skined Chinese is Cambodian or Filipino.
