  • why is it breaking up in a bad way, clean it up

  • thanks craig for kind comment! ive done the "out of phse thing " with "tele"s and les pauls thru the years .

  • Hi Gerry, I hurt the hell out of a friend of mine when I stumbled onto "hurry up and wait". to this day we still can't believe you did it. I stumbled onto this from posting on a Jackie deshannon clip. (I worked with her in '66 and '69, while you and Louie shelton were making the "Big Money") Anyway, I like that you got it wired out of phase. Ted Greene turned me onto that back in '66 with his room fulla whacked out Guitars. Don't ever stop 'til you have to! Regards, Craig....

  • the amp i used was a "fender "supersonic"...one of the newr amps . thanks for ASKING!

  • wich amp are you playing trough?

  • Hey Gerry, great guitar and nice playing. Don't let jerks like guygroovy get to you. If he doesn't understand what a jam session is then that's his problem. Hopefully whoever he charged for advice asked for a refund. Anyway keep on jamming.

  • Beautiful Les Paul, I have the same in Lemon :-)

  • Part 1

    couple of things on this

I've never heard a Les Paul sound so bad

But I'm thinking it's the player

It is an art to play without a pic and with your fingers

I recommend you use a pic until you understand how to emit tone out of playing with no pic

start with that perhaps the guitar would sound better

Also Les Pauls arent really meant to be played clean like that for the most part

Drive the guitar and play with a pic, I think then we could hear the tone of that guitar.

  • @guygroovy LOL. You schmuck.

  • yea, laughable. Him telling Jerry McGee what sounds good. More proof that there are a lot of ignorant people in the world.

Keep rockin' Gerry, you're one of the best!

  • @guygroovy ....Guygroovy...and your accomplishments on the guitar are???Please detail here( )...I'll do it for you...ZERO!!!.

  • Hey Gerry. Vous parlez encore Français?. J' habite au Canada et je connais des perssonnes vivant au Nouveau Brunswick. You are "la crème de la crème des Bluesy guitarists". See you in person one of those day.
