@cherrysweetable It may end up saving your life. I would recommend you read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, who was once an atheist. That's the book I read in college that led me to walking with Christ. God Bless.

@cherrysweetable Don't worry about me. I'm not doing myself a disservice, I have everything I need in Jesus. But you're right, there's not much point in debating anymore. I've told you the good news of the gospel, but how you respond to it is not in my control. I do wish you well in your filmmaking endeavors, I just ask that at some point you might look into why Christians believe what they believe instead of acting on preconceived notions based on what you've seen.

You are being deceived by satan with the same things in which he deceived me, including stereotypical views of cultists that call themselves Christians and a world full of so called "intellectuals" who tell you what you want to hear because they practice the same sin as you. The Bible says you do not believe because you do not have eyes to see or ears to hear.

@cherrysweetable There can be no co-existence between sin and God's holiness. That's why Jesus is so important, he lived a sinless and perfect life that we humans are incapable of doing and his death on the cross was the atonement for our sins. Sin had separated us from God but because he was pleased with Jesus, he counts as righteous all who believe in Him. Whether you believe this or not, the truth is you will have to stand before Jesus when you die and you will be without excuse.

I used to be an agnostic and persecutor of Jesus and also thought Christians believed in him to make themselves feel better about death. The Lord showed me the error of my ways in college as I was learning journalism and studying film criticisms and now my life is changed forever. I'm telling you you are spiritually dead in your trespasses because you have sinned against a holy God.

@cherrysweetable Actually, we have life. In fact, eternal life through the blood of Jesus Christ. You need life because right now you are spiritually dead. You only say there is no God because you love your sin and are too proud to submit to the authority of God. Therefore, you will find any explanation, or excuse, that justifies the sin that rules over your life. The good news is that God forgives and gives life to all who repent and trust in his beloved Son, who died to pay our debt.
