@canufi I use the Sherwoods mostly and they have very little if any plastic. I dont think they do at all but I haven't really inspected. when I was little I had a 70 point season with a CCM powerline. probably the best stick I ever used and it was wooden with a plastic blade

@meowmixer59 your incorrect on some facts....RS has a higher kick point than the s19....RS is the most common stick in the NHL today....usually they give se16's eq50 paint jobs not the other way around....eq50 was terrible no1 uses it and i dont use mine

Right: Giving se16's eq50 paint jobs. I was trying to say that but I guess I didn't write it the way I intended.

Wrong: The RS doesn't have a higher kick point than the S19. Easton wanted a faster release and as (I hope) we all know; lower kick point= faster release. The RS has a LOWER kick point than the S19.

Wrong: Stated by REEBOK that "60% of the sticks in the NHL are mid kick, so to keep up in the market, we designed the REEBOK Ai9."

You said the RS is the most popular stick in the NHL. Reebok did research and said 60% of the sticks used are mid kick. Which clearly is the TotalONE.

Midkicks are for more power as low kicks are for quicker release.

I compared the RS and the S19 at hand and the S19 has MORE elliptical profile on it than the RS. Easton made the kickpoint on their stealth series right at the fusion point above the Elliptical profile.

At a united cycle expo I was talking to easton reps and they were surprised on my knowledge on stick technology and they told me that they would love to have me in their hockey product development department but I was 15 at the time.

The RS is a low kick but i saw in a video somewhere that they talked to mike cammillari (or however u spell it) and he said he wanted something with a slightly higher flex point for the 1 timers and so they made it a little higher

Took Eastons best stealth stick (S19) and replaced it with the RS, durability wise more fragile than the S19.

Se16 -- EQ50

Took eastons best syNergy stick (Se16) and replaced it with the EQ50, durability wise more fragile than the Se16.

Rarely anyone in the NHL uses the EQ50 but if they do easton gives the EQ50 an Se16 paintjob. Same goes with the RS. Shots in slowmotion shows the kickpoint near the middle- the RS has a way lower kickpoint than the S19 so obviously easton knows thei
