Smallville was a terrible show with an interesting premise (going more into detail about Clark Kent). Lois and Clark was a pretty good show with a boring premise (Hey everybody! It's SUPERMAN!). Funnily enough, whilst Smallville was supposed to show the characters human side, he mostly came off as a whiny hero who was quite cowardly without his abilities. It was Lois and Clark that presented a relatable and likable young man who happened to be Superman.
