Lucky dog! The early '98's are great! They have the newer engine, trans shifter, mirrors but still have the old 12v! I would love to have that truck! I have an '02, but i would love a 12 v!!!
Get the governor spring kit and you WILL NOT regret it, hands down best mod my dad did to his 97. 3000 rpm kit is awesome. for the 4k kit you'll need stiffer valve springs 60#

also 98 is a cool year becuase of the new interior and the better nicer shifting NV4500 they added in 98, it has a closter pattern then pre 97. lucky

I think it might be time for an HX40 and some injectors. hehe
Stock intake horn and stock intake pre-turbo. I'm probably going to fab a 4" tube and throw a cone filter on the end.
